“Shockingly accurate, making for a creepy-fast typing experience.” - TIME Magazine
SMART & EASY
- SwiftKey replaces your phone’s keyboard with one that understands you.
- It predicts your next word before you’ve even pressed a key.
- It provides the world’s most accurate autocorrect in 60 languages.
SwiftKey makes touchscreen typing faster, easier and more personalized no matter what app you’re typing in!
LEARNING
- SwiftKey learns as you type, adapting to you and your way of writing.
- Train SwiftKey on your message archives from Gmail, Facebook and Twitter, or your blog.
- SwiftKey doesn’t just learn your popular words, it learns how you use them together.
TAP OR FLOW YOUR WORDS
- Switch between tapping and gesture-typing with SwiftKey Flow.
- Flow combines the mind-reading capabilities of SwiftKey with the speed and ease of gliding your fingers across the screen.
- Flow gives word predictions in real-time as you gesture.
- Type entire sentences without lifting your finger from the screen, simply by sliding to the space bar between words -- what we call ‘Flow through Space’.
MULTI-LINGUAL
- SwiftKey supports contextual prediction in 60 languages and counting.
- Enable up to three languages at once.
- Naturally combine languages without having to change a setting.
See swiftkey.net/en/ for full list of supported languages.

Voted hot even though I actually use Swype at the moment, not sure why but each one seems to mess up an update now and then so I switch to the other, it's pure personal preference really between them, functionality wise I don't find them that different although I do see, to have a little less frustration with Swype in general.
I couldn't get on with it then returned to the Samsung keyboard, not voting either way
Coming from HTC Sense which I think is pretty good. This however is better still. HOT
Love it. Best keyboard on the market, especially once you have used it for a while, and it starts to know your vocabulary/sentence structure.
With all the competition from the likes of Swype @ 65p and free options such as the Google Keyboard from Jellybean and Touchpal. This needs to be 99p or less for it to be a good deal!
Not voted either way as it is still probably the best keyboard if not a bit laggy since the addition of 'flow'.
My advice, buy Swype. Much better.
Nice little bug in Jellybean that resets keyboard to stock whenever you reboot.
SwiftKey and other 3rd party keyboards have no workaround at the moment.

Awaiting fix from Google....

depends on your phone - doesn't do that on mine running 4.2.2 and the other running 4.1.2.
Used to be good, now it's laggy as ****, wouldn't recommend.
Best keyboard imo for my note 2. The only thing missing is s-pen support. Much better than the Samsung keyboard.
Swype gets my vote as well, used it for over a year would never change from it
is this amazingly good or total rubbish? I can't tell given the diverse array of seemingly-insane comments
Swiftkey is waaay overrated IMO, swype is far more accurate trace keypad.
I have this but when I want a certain word it always changes it, makes me so angry I could burst

Is there a way of turning it off?
All i can say is coming from iOS keyboard and buying my first android phone the S4 that stock keyboard SUCKED big time (and the dialer but thats another story) talk about laggy and difficult so i set upon researching alot of the alternatives and spent a day with each and for me hands down i found this keyboard to be the most comfortable/responsiveness that i needed let alone the the way it learns and predicts your writing style top marks as far as im concerned i have no faults to report whereas every other one i tried i found some niggling problem.
Cold, SwiftKey is a buggy piece of crap. Stay away if you value your phone's stability and security...
Been using for a long long time but latest update has stopped learning my words! Decent price but does go lower (got mine for less than a quid)
isnt the swypw functionality standard on android keyboards? Mine does it, so why should I pay for an App. Or am I missing something here. Oh and it's a Nexus 4 in case that makes a difference
Been using this for years, best app out there

If you press on the full word you actually want above the keyboard it learns that for future. If you just press space every time it will keep changing it.

If you want to change the keyboard just hold down in a text input field and will will ask you to choose Input method

Good keyboard IMHO. My favourite. Good deal
I've tried all of these recommended keyboards, but still go back to Smart Keyboard Pro every time.

The layouts are entirely different and they have very different prediction engines. IMO the Google keyboard layout is terrible, to get to almost all symbols requires you to open up at least one page away from the main keyboard. Same with numbers.

"50% off for a limited time only!"

Haha, this is a bit like DFS...
I'm confused whether to buy it, half of you love it and half hate it lol
I've been using it for a while now - and honestly - would never use anything else now - very easy and intuitive to use.

Download the trial.
I wouldn't use anything else. It's not perfect but none are imo.
If you want to swype then swype is a much better keyboard as you get to choose what you meant after each swype, however swift key has much much better prediction and after a small amount of time with it you will find you only ever have to press 1-3 letters of any word befor it has you next word predicted.

Also note if you have a samsung then you can enable both swype and a decent prediction much like swift key, just go into settings of the keyboard to enable them
Though I paid for Swiftkey and used it for months I went off it because I rarely used the prediction feature and I was getting a lot of typos - ie bad corrections - always 'had' for 'has' etc. Also, if I got the first letter of a word wrong its suggested alternatives only ever changed the end of the word, not the start - for example, if I wrote 'days' instead of 'says' and went back to correct it, Swiftkey would offer me the alternatives 'day, date or daze,' which were all, obviously, wrong. So I'd delete and write the word again, make the same mistake, start again...

I switched to Google keyboard because it's free and my typo count is 5% of what it was before. YMMV.

Swype is a specific keyboard not an input method.

Google keyboard has 'Gesture typing', the Samsung keyboard has 'Continuous input', SwiftKey has 'Flow'.

Same here. Used Swift Key for years. Never crashed.
Swype is cheaper, better and supports more languages...

But yet everybody will probably still call it Swyping. We'll let history decide what Swype/Swyping means. Now get back to your hoovering.
I find Go keyboard is great ..and free !
I was using this for the last couple of weeks on my S4 - not as good as Swype IMO - which I bought last night for 65p.

In my experience, Swype is faster and has better prediction. And, it's cheaper.

I find the GO apps good, but I really can't be arsed with all the adverts and spam they throw at you all the time.
