Great WiFi adapter and works well with Windows 10.
Don't use the drivers on the disk as W10 installs its own Realtek drivers which are nearly a year newer than the ones supplied.

Around 435Mb connection at 5ghz but only around 85Mb was the best I could achieve with 2.4ghz.

You must be really unlucky if you do pay full price for this as it seems to come up almost monthly on this deal.

Heat added. Good deal.

It's a good deal, but who needs these? What doesn't come with WiFi built in nowadays?

Nice deal if you need to add bluetooth to your laptop

Desktop pcs still don't, which seems ridiculous really considering how cheap basic wifi chipsets are im sure they could have becoe standard years ago just like ethernet did in the early 2000s. Btw i know some high end boards do have it but they arent really representative of what most people buy....

My laptop is only 2 years old but doesnt have 5ghz WiFi. 5ghz gives me a better signal in some rooms e.g. when there's interference on the 2.4 GHz band when the microwave is on

Just ordered in time as it's now back to £13.99. Thanks OP

All lightning deals which are limited to one per customer do this.

could you plug one of these into a steam link? Wireless signal on mine is pretty rubbish and would prefer this to powerline adaptors

Is this new or newish?

A friend of mine has an Amazon firestick, but it won't work properly due to the distance of the router from the TV (the router is upstairs, other side of the house). We've tried a good wifi extender, in the plug socket nearest the TV (couple of feet iirc) but it's still no better and the firestick is constantly buffering. Tested it in my TV in my house (router few yards away) and it works faster than putting a DVD in!

Would something like this wifi dongle make a difference would anyone know?

Cheers - and hot btw.

Has this expired? £13.99 for me.

Is that the brand name or are they describing the condition of the product lol a new-ish

I would have had one of these... too late!

Assume you would need an OTG adaptor to use with a tablet since it appears to be a full size USB socket?

I have one of these for our ageing Dell laptop and it's well worth the money if you have a 5Ghz router but only 2.4Ghz wifi.

The 2.4Ghz wifi on the laptop was hit or miss so I bought a 5Ghz TP Link USB adaptor, which again was pretty hit or miss in terms of browsing the Internet, pages not displayed etc. With one of these, the connection has been flawless.... just got to be careful not to break it!

These are great, stable connection at maximum DL/UL speed since I fitted it a week ago... has made my BT Infinity actually work properly after 5 years of intermittent frustration... I've only used 5Ghz so I can't comment on the 2.4Ghz option.
Absolute bargain.
