About this deal

Awww, remember when Amy Cross used to make loads of her books free and when I posted them people would start crying and fluffing up their green wigs and honking their red noses before proclaiming that I was actually Amy Cross or she was paying me? I miss those days ;-)

Anyway, this is a pretty new release from Ms. Cross, so enjoy.

When he learns that his estranged father has committed a terrible murder, Ash Doggett knows that he has to try to set things right. He volunteers to accompany the dead woman's body home, but he soon learns that he's made a terrible mistake.

After getting to know the woman's family and agreeing to stay for the funeral, Ash discovers that powerful local superstitions might be based on truth. Something in the city's medieval area is stalking him, pursuing him down the narrow cobbled streets. Finally the dead woman's sister issues an ominous warning: in the time between death and burial, the spirits of the dead must make a terrifying choice.

Is that choice now spilling out into the world of the living?

Angel is a standalone horror novel about the power of guilt, the mysteries of the dead, and the lengths one man will go to in order to atone for the sins of his father.

    Heat for the description alone.

    Thanks Amy
Have you noticed nobody ever accuses Boz of being Charles Dickens or Arthur Conan Doyle do they?

However, I post 1 or 2 or 68 free Amy Cross books and suddenly I'm Amy Cross? Pffft.

So, in this book that you've definitely written.... the murder victim's family find the murderers son (who's called Ash Doggett) and they invite him to travel with the corpse of their family member as it's transported to her final resting place. .....? This seems very unlikely but I love horror novels. Heat from me. (edited)
Nooooo... they don't get to know Ash until he arrives with the body. I mean, who wouldn't want to know the weirdo who's volunteered to bring your dead daughter home?

Well that's what I got from the description. It could be a little clearer I guess but do you know how difficult it is to create a synopsis when you're releasing a book a week? No? Well, neither do I, let's make that much clear ;-)
