Angelcare AC401 Movement and Sound Baby Monitor - £49.99 @ Argos (Cheapest Ever)

Stock looks very limited but it's an amazing offer if you can get your hands on one! Cheapest elsewhere is around £58 - highly recommended by pretty much all parents who have used them.
The Angelcare baby monitor is a 2-in-1 movement and sound monitor that uses an under the mattress SensorPad to detect your baby's slightest movements. It will sound an alarm after 20 seconds of no movement, so you can feel more confident and reassured when your baby is in their cot bed.

Not the cheapest price ever, I got mine for £44.00 from Amazon when they launched Amazon Family and did the 25% off voucher!
That's an amazing deal!
My bad with saying cheapest ever... I'll put a disclaimer and say excluding promotional vouchers
Truth is I would quite willingly pay full price for one of these, it really is worth it.
Edit: getting full OOS also so may need to be expired
A pressure sensitive mat goes UNDER the mattress and is connected to the main unit, then any movement is detected, including baby's breathing.
Make sure you send off for the anti strangle covers if they are not included in the box. angelcarekit.co.uk/
My only criticism of this is the inability to talk to the nursery from the monitor unit, but that aside it's brilliant.

Plenty of stock around Preston (PR2), Halifax, Bradford (HX2), Leeds (LS19), and Loughborough (LE11) / Leicester too.
In theory this is a good unit. Just be wary you do get a lot of false alarms in which you run into the child's bedroom panicking.
Bear in mind that this pressure pad need to sit on a flat surface under the mattress. So we had to get ply wood cut for it to sit on.
(heat for the price, good find OP)
Ours went off at 3am this morning and nearly gave me a heart attack!
We have found over the years with our first and now with our 2nd, that when they can roll around, they often snuggle themselves up the corners of the cot and at these extremities the Angelcare is sometimes not sensitive enough, even at the highest setting (4), to pick up any movement.
After too many false alarms with our first we ended up turning off the sensor part as my heart couldn't take it!
I'd say up until 6/7 months this is ideal as they are fairly stationary in bed, after that be prepared for a few night time panic attacks!
The (audio) monitor part is great way up till they are in a proper bed.
