we gave up with the refill about a year ago as they worked out so expensive - we buy the rolls of swing/pedal (can't remember which, but the bigger of the two) liners and roll them over an empty cassette. works perfectly and only a couple of quid for about 20.

other option is this:

hi, could you explain that again please, you might need a blackboard and some chalk X). swing/pedal liners, do you open them all out & roll them all into the cassette? I can see it;ll work out much cheaper but I guess you have to change the bin a lot as the liners aren't as big as the bin, or not??? would still be worth doing tho.

I'll try... push the bottom of the bin liner through the clamshell bit of the bin, leaving about 10 or so inches of the open liner at the top. Pull the top of the bag throught the middle of the old, empty cassette then down around the sides of the cassette, lifting the cassette and tucking a couple of inches under the cassette. Hopefully that kind of made sense!
The liners are bigger than the bin itself, so the capacity of the bin is still the limiting factor as to when the bin needs emptying. As I said though, I can't remember whether it's swing or pedal bin liners we buy (I always have to unroll them and check in the shop!).
