Anglian Water Free fat trap

Anglian Water are giving away free fat traps which help prevent the fat from your roast dinner etc clogging up the drains...Not sure if its open to anyone outside Anglia water region but for those if us in it's a freebies worth having. I recently paid for two of these - could have saved my money had I known they'd be giving them away

When you've finished roasting a joint or grilling sausages etc you let the fat cool a little and tip it into the plastic container. It then when it begins to set you can add a little bird seed and make 'fat balls' for the birds

Plus of course it saves your drains getting gunged up with the solidifying fat...which in turn saves plumbers costs
