The latest angry birds game... Rio arrived at itunes today. More fun for all you fellow angry birds addicts like me!

"In Angry Birds Rio, the original Angry Birds are kidnapped and taken to the magical city of Rio, where they eventually escape their captors and set out to to save their friends, Blu and Jewel – two rare macaws and the stars of the upcoming Fox motion picture, Rio. Angry Birds Rio will pair the physics-based gameplay of the original game with unique twists based on the highly-anticipated film.

Angry Birds Rio will launch with 45 dedicated levels and will regularly add new levels via app updates. The game will be available for download on smart phones and tablets worldwide.

+1

what is installous?

COLD from me - using this now-classic game as a marketing device for a film really destroys its value in its own right.

EA own Rovio who make the game.. so expect more like this..

A penguin would be happy on this thread, a bit chilly

Free on Android via Amazon AppStore

It is equivalent to torrent download software in a JB iPhone. Google this word and you will find out more about it.

But only if you can find a way to access the US site.

Nope... they own the Angry Birds publisher Chillingo (tomsguide.com/us/…vio,news-8404.html) but not the rights to the game itself. Rovio refuses to have anything more to do with Chillingo, apparently. To quote Rovio: "We have not sold out. We have not sold to EA. We are Rovio. We own Angry Birds.”

Good game mind you...
