Hi guys,

I've just been to poundland, Kingston Park, Newcastle and noticed they had this game for £2, I'm a collector so worth spending £2 just for the amiibo 😁
Just noticed this comes with 3 cards too, Rosie, Goldie and Stitches
Thanks GamerFirebird

I think from the trailer for the new switch game it looked like amiibos would be backwards compatible - May be wrong but appeared that way .

Fully compatible. You can invite the villager card ones into the game to move in. Not sure about specific special characters though.

Edit: OP worth noting you get three cards in the box too. Rosie, Goldie and Stitches.

Oh damn, ok better keep an eye out for these then. Definitely worth it for the cards alone let alone also the amiibos

It is when they are quite desired villagers to have in the town. With Rosie being in the Animal Crossing film and Goldie and Stitches both being very popular villagers.

Some villagers go for a fortune now. Like Lily the frog goes for £8-12.50 just for her card.
I saw this on Poundland Brixton (I think) some time ago but it was £5 and I didn’t have the game, only the amiibos
Between this and the 75p Eastereggs at Tesco, Kingston Park is going to be HUKD paradise tomorrow.
For £2 just for the amibo figures that's a bargain. The game is a bit pants.
These have been sold in Poundland for ages, you just found what little stock remains.
will these work with 3ds?

Thanks GamerFirebird, I'll add it on 😁
surprised they're dropping the price of these with New Horizons round the corner, can imagine Animal Crossing amiibos becoming a lot more desirable after March 20th

About 6 left in the shop now for the local Newcastle folk.
Checked both Liverpool branches, none 😥
None in Dorset branches
Any in Sheffield?
I was around that area around an hour ago so I popped in and there seems to be 3 left
