Really? I find it a bit of a chore... bare in mind this is my first Animal Crossing game, however everything is slow... from upgrading a tool to crafting items (I mean not being able to craft more than one of the same item and have to go through multiple lines of text for each craft seems a little backwards to me), also not being able to use your storage inventory when crafting when you are inside your house...
Takes a day to build a bridge, upgrade a shop... it's like a mobile game where everything is prolonged to make it seem more fleshed out... when in reality it isn't.

Don't get me wrong though... I have put like 40 hours in to the game but I will probably get rid of it as I can probably make back what I paid on release.
Cheaper at Shopto.
I’d rather pay £5 extra from a website I trust like CDKeys than some other key website where they want you to pay extra for buyers protection

Haha! I’ve eaten less, somehow, mainly due to landscaping and visiting other’s islands for items! I genuinely only really stop when my Switch is dead! I’ll have to make up for it.

It's an odd one, having played them all I expected to skip this as it just seemed the same, but after a gentle intro i've now gone all in on it. The bridge/shop thing is quite a slow intro but once you open up landscaping etc the game becomes something else for me. It is a more refined AC with the added elements of social trading, showcasing and human to human rewards. I certainly feel more addicted than a mobile game but the pacing allows you to work on things you might otherwise not bother with. I dont play any kind of multiplayer games but the visiting strangers islands to accuire swap or buy things you are after deffo has that balance of grind/mobile. But have i played it more than any other Switch game, PS4 and Xbox put together in the past year? Yes. I love things like Witcher and RDR2 but this is just a more nostalgic trip.

Offer immediately disappears as soon as signed up and email address validated. There seems to be no option to retrieve the new customer offer once it has disappeared from your screen. Any tips on how to retrieve it as there’s a CD Keys page, but it doesn’t include the Animal Crossing cash back deal

Asked through Facebook and it still works if you joined from that page even if you can't see the offer on the site

Never heard of that site either but for £10 i'm interested to know if it works... I'd pay £29.99 for it, but reluctant to spend £39.99 when it's been cheaper...

ah its new - its only been going since Oct 2019 that's probably why I never heard of it before...

Thanks, I ended up registering with a different email address and got the offer. The cashback has tracked, but just waiting for it to change to approved. £29.99 for Animal Crossing is a pretty amazing deal.
