Nope, that’s your problem fanboy...

You posted a compatibility issue with your phone and inductive chargers. I merely highlighted the problem in the chain and you call me a fanboy for that That doesn't even make sense.

It's not the plug. It's not the cable. It's not the charging pad. The phone is the problem.
Apple is famous for incompatibility with anything non-apple so how am I a fanboy? These are indisputable facts.

So if you want inductive charging either wait for one that apple has graced with their godly touch or put up with compatibility issues certainly not stemming from intentional compatibility sabotage at an engineering level. Now that would be unheard of
Nonsense. I have this charger and it works fine with the iPhone XS Max. I have no idea why people argue about one make of phone versus another. Seems a silly thing to get worked up about.

If your case is thick, it won’t charge. Mine doesn’t. Also, the blue light is annoying at night. Don’t use mine.
I've had this a while.
Superb.

These standup chargers are so much better than lay flat ones, especially at night where you’re trying to put the phone back into the charger in the dark. I have a different brand and the light is annoying at night, but I just put a sticky paper label over it which gets rid of the bright led issue.

Fancy to sell?
What me and some other friends experienced with wireless charging is that although the phone says it’s 100% charged and also after leaving it charging for an entire night, the battery doesn’t last as when it’s charged using cable. I have an iPhone XS.

10 watts, far too slow.
Brilliant fast wireless charger, best I've used so far.

Its definitely a odd one, some people defend their brand of phone/console as much as they would a sports team
I don't know what it is about wireless chargers but I've just never got on with them. I have the official Samsung fast charger and use a cable with it and it fully charges my Note 9 in about 90 mins.

Wireless "fast" chargers always take over two hours so I've just never bothered 🤷

I find them easier as I charge my phone overnight. If I wake up in the middle of the night and use my phone for a few mins in the dark then it’s a lot easier to put it back on the wireless charger than try and plug it in in the dark.

Thanks. I've (now) got a quadlock case with a thick back. My Samsung charger works through it, another cheaper one I have on my desk at work doesn't. Wondered if this would be a good replacement. I guess not.

That doesn't seem to make much sense to me...

Surely just placing it flat on a pad is easier, especially in the dark, than placing it correctly in a cradle?
I've got 3 of these around the house. I can't comment on speed of charging but it makes no difference to me. They're mostly used for overnight charging on our bedside tables & are perfect for that

I have them at work and at home. Really don't understand the comments about speed as I find them great at topping up. I cannot use my phone at work anyway so my use is not heavy.

I suppose the issue is if it's used as a work phone but in that case I'd have it plugged in (or on this type of charger) most of the time and it's always on charge in the car.....

If Im travelling on public transport or on holiday I either use a suitable portable charger so I'm rarely caught out. Even better I have an old Nokia 6310i which lasts forever on a charge and use iPad for everything else while away.

So this deal gets my vote.
Already out of date. 20w wireless charging already working and for sale for compatablie handsets.

I had a flat pad previously and found it was too much hassle centring as the phone would only charge if it was very centred. I find the stand up one (L shaped) a lot better - far easier to position the phone in the dark.

As far as I know there is only one 20w wireless charger and it only charges like 2/3 phones at that speed.

Agreed, however I’d suggest within the next 12 months that will be the new standard and this will thus be out of date.

Nothing personal, just warning people that just like the old 5w wireless chargers are now obsolete for anybody but Apple users this will soon be so as well. Probably worth waiting.

Personally I’d rather buy this, it is backwards compatible with slower speeds.

I've gone for a small piece of blutack over mine. The blue light on this model is insanely bright at night, and unnecessary with my phone (Pixel 3) as the screen is on in night mode while charging.
