Will this DASH charge a OnePlus 5t ?
Thanks for the info MrSwitch
Is there a small charger something like this that also has swappable adapter heads?
I'm obviously missing something.... so could someone let me know why I need this over the charger that came with my device?

What device do you have?
I bought a Xiaomi 9T Pro which has 27w 'Turbo Charging' capability, but the handset only came with an 18w fast charger. Buying a 27w charger from Xiaomi is difficult/impossible, and I want to avoid the Xiaomi chargers on AliExpress as their authenticity is questionable.

I believe the handset is compatible with Power Delivery so will take a punt on this charger - the time to fully charge is impressively quick.

My manual says that using fast charge will shorten the length of the battery, yes. That's due the Samsung S8, but I'm assuming applicable across the board... Otherwise they'd all just fast charge by default
