This is a 5 port wall charger which is designed to charge a variety of Apple and Android devices at full speed - it's 'One Unique Charger for One Family'.

Some features of this wall charger:
• 5 ports designed to charge the iPad (2 x 2.1A), iPhone (1A), Samsung Tab (1.3A), and Android devices (1A) at full speed. Total max output of 5A.
• Compact, unibody design for added portability.
• Hardened-plastic outer shell and premium circuitry ensure lifetime reliability.
• AC 110-220V input voltage for use around the world.
• Package contents: Anker® 5-Port Wall Charger, 2.5ft / 76cm detachable power cord, user manual.

This is a relatively new product and seems to be really rather good (as per usual for Anker). All of the reviews on Amazon have been awarded 5 stars, and this is the lowest price that it's ever been offered. Sold by AnkerDirect and Fulfilled by Amazon. Delivered free with super saver delivery.

Use the code 25WDEALS at the checkout for a discount of £4, making the price £11.99 rather than (a still good value) £15.99. The code is only valid for a limited time, so be quick to grab this bargain!

Link to price history.

The description says it's a wall charger, but I see nothing that makes this anything other than desktop! That said, it's a great idea. I have a different make 3 way charger (which is a wall charger as the ports are all in the back of the plug unit) and it's great for reducing clutter. Voted hot.

You know what, this is perfect for going on holidays... I'm always struggling charging 2x ipad, 1x nexus and 2x iphones... Cheers!

Hi pebrey, yes you're right, it technically is a desktop charger - it even says so on the back (see the additional photos by following the deal link). I was just going by the description on Amazon. Thanks.

All the reviews were posted within a 5 day period, bit fishy that there are so many 5 star revenues review's .. Anyway does look a useful product

Use the code 25WDEALS at the checkout and the price drops by £4.

Promo code doesn't work for me:

"The promotional code you entered cannot be applied to your purchase."

It's a new product, only released very recently and I believe that some were sent out for test and evaluation purposes. There are some more reviews on Ankers website, take a look HERE.

By wall charger, they're referring to the fact that it's plugged in via AC Adaptor rather than a USB hub which you often get.

The reviews they state that they were given the product free in exchange for reviewing it. So not really fishy as such but people will tend to have a positive bias for something they were given as a freebie.

anyone get the code to work for them?

Worked for me - I checked it before posting the deal. I'll try and take a screenshot after I've finished at work.

Sorry about duplicate posts

Nice one - just ordered mine

Code worked for me

ordered 1..thanks

Code worked for me too btw

me too !!

I got it to work in the end. It only seemed to work if I used my gift certficate balance. As soon as I changed to a different card, it would lose the -£4 and not let me apply the code again. Just had to put it through on the certificate in the end! Thanks for the deal.

Just to confirm, 5a total so you can't run all at once. Still a very handy device though, can't remember the last time I had to charge everything at once!

Ordered mine. Code worked fine used my credit card and still got the discount.

Useful, ordered - cheers.

Code worked OK

Worked for me. Thanks op.

Does this work with iOS7 cable/charger check?

Looks a very good buy for that price just a bit wary of being an early adopter of this bit of kit as batterys, cables, chargers can be very hit or miss.

I have had a bunch of these Kensington 4-port USB chargers for ages (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Kensington-4-Port-USB-UK-Charger/dp/B001G5Z8Q4/). They aren't as high-powered as this Anker but they are incredibly useful. So this looks like a good deal to me!

Using this is does it charge as quick as a standard plug into wall socket ? If so I'm sold if not I'm out

Just read some of the reviews. It seems Anker sent out some freebies in exchange for these people leaving reviews, so a little sceptical about the independence. That said, looks a decent product, and pretty reasonable price.

Code worked, ordered.. thanks!

Possibly a bit misleading as it's output is limited to 5A. As far as I'm aware an ipad is 2.1A so two of those on the go only leaves 0.8A spare - not enough to charge a third device.

To me, it's more of a "5 device compatible" thing than a "charge up to 5 devices simultaneously"

Still cheaper than Apple's leads however (and takes up 1 less wall socket) - but there is still that thing in the back of my mind about risking non-apple devices (i.e. phones catching fire)

I was just thinking the same. A maximum of 25W is 5v x (1A x 5 sockets) = 25W. So it could charge 2 ipads and maybe something small but even then not enough for most phones. Its a good idea but the max 25W is a little restricting and the advertising is misleading to those who do not understand Watts & Amps.

Was thinking the other day I need something like this. Ordered and looks perfect

The usefulness for me is not that I can charge multiple devices simultaneously. It's that I can leave the various cables connected to this thing and then charge whichever device needs charging without having to unplug lots of bits and bobs.

this just sound dangerous to me...

Why would it be dangerous?

It will depend on what you are charging.
My chargers vary:
Nexus 7 = 1A
Wiimote battery Pack = .7
Galaxy S+ = .5
Blackberry = .5A and .8
Kindle ebook = .35

So I could charge all of them and not strain the unit.
