36 watts is not enough for laptops , Chromebooks or Macbooks. But I guess ok for smartphones and small tablets.
You can get a Ugreen 65w pd charger for £19.99. Only 1 output though but still less than half the price.

Do you have the link ?
Why does USB C command such a premium. Ok it’s from a reputable mfr, but it’s still far too expensive for a power pack.

Because it can be safely used to transfer 100 watts and within specifications. . Usb A specs limit it to 2.1 amp at 5 volts . So only 10.5 watts within specifications . And same cable for data and power . Usb 4.0 will let you pass 40gbps . Currently only 10gbps data speed , unless Thunderbolt 3 . Power Delivery specifications allow devices to communicate with power supply , negotiate and not overcharge .

I bought same charger from that link for £26.99 there was also £4 off voucher.
I think difference in both is this one has 2 USB C ports & other has 1 USB C & 1 USB 3.0 port.
