You can get Baseus cables for 1p from Aliexpress, from my experience very good quality.

No, you can't. You get it as a one time sign up, but after your first purchase you can't get them for anywhere near that price.

Only fly in the ointment is that its usb 2.0, doesn't support video or fast data transfer.

That's very common for a charging cable. High-speed cables tend to be shorter or much thicker (Dell bundle good one with their monitors, but I don't know if you can buy those separately).

Only rated for 25000 bends... I usually sit and bend my cables at least 40000 times, so this wouldn't do for me.

sure. most electronics these days have fail safe controls to regulate current passing through them. the cable is rated 5A anyways, so it's not overpowering

just connect it to your charging adapter. could be rated at 20w or higher. Samsung only support 45w charging speed for their premium devices

make sure the charging brick port is usb-c not usb a type (edited)
