I like Anker but those reviews 🥴
I was considering it until I saw the reviews.. not worth the risk. I'll stick to pound land for my charging cables
These ones are crap, get the better version that they do.

Crap in what way? Do they work, for all functionality?

I have 5 anker cables, all great. I tried these cheaper ones and both failed within a month.
If they are plugged in a specific location and don’t get moved about they will last...otherwise they don’t last...lucky if you get a few months...
Just get an Amazons 'basics' MFI certified lead, ok quality and cheap too.
Maker are generally great but worth paying an extra couple of quid for the newer version. They are rock solid.
Don't know if I'm just unlucky but I have half a dozen apple devices in my household (iPads/iPhones) and the official charger wires have all failed in time. So I've tried replacing them with well reviewed alternatives from amazon a couple of times now and they also have a high failure rate. Like I say, maybe I'm unlucky. My kids seen to be taking care of them (no kinks or twists or sharp bends). I'm at a loss. :/
Better to get cables from aliexpress.
12 months with these and no issues, moved them round loads. I assumed cheap ones wouldn't charge so never bothered with them.
That's a lot of money for a cheap easily broken cable.
£3.99 for amazon basics
Got a few amazon basics cables and they’ve been fine.
Another vote for Amazon basics - they don’t advertise the same warranty but they will swap out within 24months if you get onto customer services via “chat”
If you want a cable to last I can recommend syncwire, about £8 on Amazon

After about a week
37644752.jpgDisintegrating MFI certified Aukey after a month. Had an Anker once, kept going for a long time, Amazon Basic even for longer.

Maybe someone's been resting their device on the part of the cable near where it connects to the device. I know quite a few people who've done this, the charger usually stops working soon after and there are often no physical signs of damage.
The Braided cables are the better ones
