15000mAh Redux model, similar design/size to original 10000mAh model which is the same price.

Normally £30.99 though price has just dropped on it. See CamelCamelCamel graph:

3210213.jpg

Also, the 20000mAh Redux version has been reduced from £40.99 to £30.99 - only 1 review (4* on Amazon UK though lots of good ones on the US site, view below the UK reviews)

£14.99

(I've been using mine for almost 15 months now. I work as a cycle courier, so my gear has a pretty tough life. The battery is only just starting to degrade - but it still charges my Redmi Note 5 around 2.5x - despite charge/discharge cycles every other day. The QC3.0 charge feature is so useful)

I still can't see why people spend extra on these Anker powerbanks when the Xiaomi 2c 20,000Mah powerbank can be had for £14.50 on eBay. They have Quickcharge 3.0 in and out, as well as a nifty feature for charging low power devices.

After a new power bank. Came along at just the right time. Thanks OP.
I have a few power banks and most wont charge my Bluetooth headphones 🎧 because I’m guessing they take so little power but this charger does so is perfect to take with me to work for my phone and headphones

Reputation I suppose. Why not post the Xiaomi and see what people think? Maybe (start to) change opinions. I have always bought Anker as done what I needed at a price I'm willing to pay - so why change?
Seen a lot of this Ankar lately. I take it they make good stuff?

Yes - very good quality for the price point (e.g dash cams, powerbanks, charging cables, headphones etc.) I’d personally recommend

eBay links aren't acceptable most of the time on HUKD. So I don't even bother

Anker have an excellent and deserved reputation - but Xiaomi also have an excellent reputation, and are the fourth biggest phone manufacturer. I have had no issues with any of their products. Well worth a look

I've just received the powerbank and it's brilliant; the trickle charge feature is very useful for charging both my Apple Watch and bluetooth earphones. Would highly recommend

Great deal and great price, voted hot

Don't actually need one as I'm not very mobile these days but still very interested in this item, especially Anker stuff which I love

Purely for my own education, would this have enough oomph to charge a Nintendo Switch ?

Anker batteries are more comfortable for pocket use. But it fits in my cycling short pockets without any issue. I am definitely happy to have traded a bit of comfort for Quickcharge and a £10 saving

It will charge but won’t if want to play and charge... the bank requires a usb c port to charge will playing and be careful on what bank and cable you use as could brick the switch.. Nintendo get funny about what external products are used on their stuff
Warning these redux charges take twice as long to charge as the PowerCore II line by Anker

Completely agree. I was lucky to buy one a couple of weeks ago for £7.30 as new and it works absolutely fine.Would never pay more than £15 for a 20k mah powerbank.

Anker is a more well known brand.

Anker is a more well known brand.

And Xiaomi is a vastly bigger company with clear expertise in battery tech given that it is also the third largest phone manufacturer.

By all means buy from Anker - they are a top company with great support. But I'll save a tenner and get QuickCharge in the mix

I understand. Its the same as cars. Toyota and Honda sell way more than Ford. However, Ford is still the brand people buy cos of name or brand association.

Its the same as Huawei.

I sooner buy Huawei or OnePlus these days over Samsung or LG.

Today, I received the Xiaomi power bank purchased from the eBay seller recommended in your link. The one that I had received was a fake and I regret not checking their feedback before purchasing as there were also complaints that they ere selling fakes.
I will be making an eBay claim.
