Not at all, these are very much worth this price. They use Power Delivery system not Quick Charge, so these would work with the new Sony XZ3 and the Pixel Phones. Much more expensive than the standard power banks.

I mean yes it's higher at RRP but this is cheap

That's the non Switch version so no bag or cable.

Nice find.
Does it come with a switch usb cable? Weird that its not mentioned in the description but seems a really obvious thing to include considering you wouldn’t be able to charge your switch without one

UPDATE:

It does include a cable! + bag

Good deal

So is this the exact same product without the switch badge?

I own the Aukey one. All specifications are the same. Charges my Switch perfectly. Costs 19.99

No switch tax here. Think of it as a brand name tax.
I really like the one that clips on to the back of switch, shame this doesn’t

but this has been approved by Nintendo themselves so must be a good product. I wouldnt want to risk my Switch on a third party device that might not even work. They wouldnt give a licence to any old product.

Back in the days of Wii games and peripherals Nintendo’s official “seal of quality” was stamped on anything and everything...
In the few times I've needed it I've used my non-Switch Anker 20,000mAh battery and not had any issues. I wouldn't pay £15 odd extra for the badge.

No power delivery so no fast charge the switch whilst playing and can’t fast charge my iPad Pro etc. I can find loads of non PD ones around that price

The non switch variant of the same Anker powerbank is this one amazon.co.uk/Anker-PowerCore-20100-mAh-Powerbank-Delivery-Black/dp/B071JWNQ8Y/ref=sr_1_5?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1542012893&sr=1-5&keywords=20100+power+delivery&tag=22 which is £10 more expensive.

Ah, that's where I must be getting confused as I bought a Pro Controller with my Switch
This is actually a fantastic deal if you want the official one (I did). It usually retails for around the RRP of £79.99 and I haven't really seen it on offer too much. This is not far off the price of the non-Nintendo variant so I have bought one. Great find OP, thanks

It’s cheaper than the non-Nintendo variant if you look at the posts above. The non Nintendo is currently £49.99 on amazon and this one is £39.99. Hot deal.

Any idea how long it will be at this price for? Would be nice to get it when Quidco are doing one of their £2.50 or even £3.50 bonus thingys!

Not too long most likely. But this is an early black friday deal..im guessing we have time since other companies seem to follow suit
Wow this is a brilliant deal. To those throwing around standard 20000mah battery packs - this isn't the same. The non-branded base Anker product of this costs £50, so £40 is a great price for it. Supports USB-C PD which should future proof the thing somewhat.

This power bank will fast charge your iPhone 8 and later devices, along with Pixel 2 & 3, the Switch, numerous laptops and the new iPad Pros. In theory should be cross compatible with the upcoming Qualcomm Quickcharge 4.0 to a degree too, although I'm not sure on the specifics of that.

Nothing more frustrating than arrogant ignorance.

Just to be clear here for those still not getting it - Anker's 'Power Delivery' = 3 amp charging for USB-C devices(like the Nintendo Switch). That's quite a bit stronger(faster) than your normal powerpacks, which usually top out at 2.1 or 2.4A.

Obviously not everybody will need/want that, but it is a premium feature for those who do, and it's why it commands the extra price.

To second your comment, I have the Anker power bank without power delivery and it cant charge as fast as the switch uses, so if for example you’re playing Zelda and notice that you've got low battery you have to stop playing and let it charge for a while. I expect that the one with power charging will pump power quickly enough to let you keep playing.

The extra 8 quid for the power delivery is worth it I think.

Someone asked if you get a little pouch with the normal Anker power bank (without delivery) and I can confirm you do.

Deliver to post office and pick up for free

Not seeing that option?

FWIW I couldn't find the option either despite looking around quite a bit. I ended up just paying for delivery, but would be handy to know if there's an option that I missed to help out anyone else interested in buying. It does say free delivery is available on the main product page so it's a bit odd.

I wouldn’t mind this for a 15 hour flight on Thursday - how quickly do Very despatch items? It does say up to 6 days delivery, but I assume it doesn’t take that long.
