Note

Has failed twice on the payment stage for me.

Currently on with o2 chat who are saying it must be a problem with the bank.

Mainly: it has wireless charging and it is half the weight (but only half the capacity).

Note that this is the older version; this is the newer one.

Also, if you don’t need wireless charging, this one is currently £24.99.

You make a good point about the newer version @Eotris
It seems to me the description (Anker PowerCore III) they use is for the newer version, but the picture is for an older version (ANKER PowerCore) - it seems that the "III" distiguishes it from the older version

It will be interesting to see what turns up.......

Yes, the description and the picture do not match - voting hot on the assumption thatthey send the newer ‘PowerCore III’.

Is the newer model with the £15 extra?

(Sorry if obvious, these things baffle me! Didn’t wanna purchase if ending up with something not much use)

As stated above. The description of the item on the 02shop is the newer model, but the picture is of an older model.

If you order this item (as I have) I would expect to receive the newer model (III), as this is what it says on the order I placed.
It is, however, possible they may send the older model - if so, I will be sending it back!

The newer one only has one usb A output but the description on O2 is vague as to whether it is one usb A and one usb C= two usb outputs.

There are problems with two-step authentication with some retailers. The bank is expecting tsa but many retailers don't support it yet. Expect these issues to continue for a while yet. To work round it pay via a method that has tsa built in, such as PayPal, Google Pay Online, etc.

At nearly half the price, the Aukey wireless charger does the job for me.

FYI they send the power bank in the photo, not the description so it's the older version, not really sure what the difference is apart from the older version has an extra port
