I have one. Quality is great, looks very discreet.
Big drawback for me is that the parking monitor function is unusable. The sensor is too sensitive and drains the internal battery within hours. I've turned the function off and will live with it

If it's hard wired you do NOT want it permanently supplying power to the dash cam because it has an internal battery. Hard wired through an ignition switched circuit is ok though. The Roav uses the internal battery to activate the parking sensor but as mentioned before it's useless at doing it because even opening or closing the drivers door gently can activate it and it fills the sd card with protected files. Another thing that pi$$es me of about the Roav camera is it's made for a left hand drive car so when in use you can not see the tiny flashing red led on the button on the left that indicates that its recording correctly.
If the Aukey Dr01 was as stealthy as this Roav camera I would definitely buy the Aukey because it has a super capacitor and is half the price, but the Aukey is easily seen from the outside of the car so it risks getting nicked by the local smack heads.
No I've run the cable through the trim to an accessory socket in the footwell.
As said above hardwiring won't solve the sensitivity issue and would cause a flat battery if it was connected to a permanent live and you didn't have a low voltage cut off

Well, aware of that but video quality wise, are they comparable?

Is yours hard wired?

Still a great cam though & very stealthy
