24hours?! Mental
looks like this was 24.99 a few days ago...I've setup a price alert and will buy when it hits that. Thanks for the heads-up, OP
Is the A3134 worth the extra cash?
I bought one of these at £24.99 but having used it I would pay double. It's fantastic. The bluetooth range never fails, it connects with a chirpy beep and the sound quality and battery life are both incredible.

A massive humdinger of a ringing endorsement from me, with massive bells on!

Buy it!
I bought one of these a few months back and it is superb. Very loud, excellent bass, much, much better than other speakers twice the price. An absolute bargain
I can have this delivered this evening - what a time to be alive!

Don't need it, but would be good for camping, holidays etc so have set up a price alert. Cheers OP
Anker products are excellent quality.
Bought the Veho 360 M5 from Zavvi deal last week.. still not even been dispatched...
So tempted by this one!!

Never owned or used a wireless speaker but this is out of my price range. Any suggestions for a budget one just to play about with & test out?

This is the one I bought last week:

Its not been dispatched yet, but very good price and reviews.

Do you mean the A3143?
If so, its a tough call. Have both. The A3143 has a lot better bass and a more rich/deep, wholesome sound, and can go really loud and powerful. But then at the lowest volume levels there can be some mild distortion (which I've found just listening as background noise doing work at home), plus the battery life isn't nearly as good (about 5/6 hrs).
The Soundcore doesn't have the same power or bass to it, but a fantastic battery and still does sound very good for that size of a speaker.
It depends on what you're after, but the Soundcore slightly edges the win over the A3143 in my opinion.

OOS unfortunately
Great sounding little speaker. I've got one permanently powered with a chromecast audio plugged in via 3.5mm jack and it works great.

I fact I've actually got 2 in different rooms (living room/kitchen-diner), both set up with Chromecast audio's added into a group. Hit play on phone and get perfectly synced audio in both rooms, effectively a similar setup to what a Sonus would give me.

Ah sorry! Didn't see that

theres plenty of cheap ones on amazon though, have a look
6w is not very powerful? always thought more W was louder and better sound?

What app do you use?

Anything other than Spotify & Deezer premium apps?
Gone for this.. wanted something to vaguely imitate the Bose Soundlink II my mum's got.. but without paying £140

Heat added!
Bought one a few weeks ago and it's ace
Although I paid 24.99 for it so it had risen in price since then
Any better than Soundpeats P2 or P3? Considering one of the 3

Very very tempted by this. Any help with how it compares to the AZATOM Storm? In terms of volume and sound clarity.

A copy of the review I left on the Amazon website:

The battery life has yet to be tested but I've not charged it in the week or so of having it. Connectivity wise is via bluetooth and a 3.5mm stereo jack plug - tested the latter with my MacBook which sounded much better than the MacBook speakers.Bluetooth sync was painless, for the first device it pairs no problems and other devices will require you to press the bluetooth button on top of the device. So any downsides? Nothing related to the speaker sound, just when skipping to another song there's a slight hesitation on the sound - but this might be iPhone/Bluetooth related. There is a bluebooth connection 'beep' which might annoy (only on initial connection) - ask me about it in a years time!!So recommended? In a word yes, as I said earlier it's not going to replace a hifi setup, but it's a great little speak for the office room, holidays etc

In conclusion, if I didn't get it for free I would've bought it. Battery life is still great (though never tested the 24 hours) only problem I had was it wouldn't sync to my iPhone the other day whilst driving back home (was using it as a car stereo replacement as frankly I don't want to listen to Heart FM or Radio One). Not tested it since, but considering the car had 4 iDevices present and my 'sleeping' Macbook in the boot I'm guessing something got the bluetooth locked on first.

Not bad at all. Will it hold a candle to my Bose Soundlink? Might give this a shot, even just to leave at work.
I love this speaker. Bought it at £25 after sending the more expensive A3143 back. The sound core has much more clarity and enough bass for me. The A3143 had very little mid and treble. Fee more comfortable taking the sound core away with me too.

That's not so much a problem with the device though is it. Although some now allow a second device to connect for this very reason but a limitation with Bluetooth. My day is getting a bit forgetful and with the range of things always ends up spending 20 mins looking for the device he left Bluetooth on before he can play his music.

He uses it as a kitchen speaker last weekend was his ipad left in the car boot. Chromecast is a better technical solution but these have their place.
Just what I needed for an upcoming holiday !!

This is what I was thinking of going for upstairs. I have Sony speakers downstairs hooked up to two Audiocasts. Recently stumbled upon Anker and just looking at the different models. I like the look of the classic Bluetooth speaker as well.
Got one of these. About a year old. Paid roughly the same.

Anker is a great brand. Their leads and speakers are very well made. Battery on this is epic. It just never runs out.

Sound quality is good to very good. Place next to a Bose Bluetooth speaker you can tell the difference (but obvious price difference). Would recommend.

Isn't this a better … Isn't this a better buy?https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00O284UTI/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pd_nS_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=2YZOGDFMUILN7&coliid=I2P0Q26L63CQU&psc=1

I'd like to know this too . That one gets good reviews too.
Had this for a few months, used it daily on 40-70% vol and took over a month and a half to run out of juice.
I have a Kitsound Boom Bar 2 which is ok. Would this maybe sound any better?
I got one of these a few months ago and I have to say I was very underwhelmed.

I haven't had much experience with other similar Bluetooth speakers so I cannot say so and so is better. However, in my opinion it lacks bass and a bit of volume. I would classify it as a good enough kitchen speaker for some background music, but it isn't something you would use to enjoy just listening to some music.

A good thing about it is because it lacks bass they are good for the kids so you don't get disturbed too much even if they play it loud.

battery life was good about 10 hours I found.

whoops I thought it was the a7909 so the sound core is likely worse than what I thought about that one

So the total opposite of all reviews on here and Amazon?!

I don't think anyone would be buying a 25 quid battery speaker as their main source of music. It's battery so it's portable so it's for camping, holidays, work, hotels, kids etc etc, not an audiophile.
couldn't resist... ordered.
