Good this, great little speaker.
It will surprise you how loud it is and you won't believe me if I tell you how long the batteries last! They never go flat!

Is this speaker better than Kit Sound
Got this when it was posted the other day, well impressed!. It's slightly cheaper this time though.

i have this (bought at 29) it's great in a many ways (battery life, bluetooth both excellent) BUT the sound just isn't very good for music shame deal isn't the 2, which is supposed to be better sounding? i'm not audiophile either, just listen back to back with one linked below and it's astonishing the difference for me.

e.g. this amazon.co.uk/Blu…ker
has much better sound quality! but is considerably worse in the other two areas. ya pays yer little money and yer takes yer choice for all 3 ( bt, battery and sound quality) i think you're looking at over £100 for a JBL or Bose or UE, unless anyone knows better??

I got this two years ago, still use it very often. The battery life from one full charge is phenomenal. I output mine at 35% volume and I get 88 hours from one charge. Unbelievable. I had to recount my hours in my diary to ensure I wasn't going mad.
So I guess if you output at 50% which is already quite loud for a bedroom IMO, you might get around 60 hours out of it.

It's not a great Bluetooth speaker, it has rather weak bass, which is expected since it has extremely long battery life. It does however have excellent clarity, vocals come out very clear, but the lack of depth means it struggles to bring out all of the essence from music, which is why Anker released the 'Sound Core Boost' and 'Sound Core 2'.
It's great for casual light listening and traveling, knowing you needn't charge it for a long long time.
I've got to add, this allowed me to use the greyed out areas in my samsung music app. I personally find the sound amazing for the price & it's loud!.
*misread*, lol
You can get a 20W speaker on Amazon for same price. Seriously this is a 12w speaker.

Does it have the same awesome battery life, and sound as good.
Great speaker - I heard my Dad's and then they bought me the v2 for my birthday, and it is even better and IP rated, so great for use in the bathroom and outside, but for the money the v1 is great.

And hope they don't ban your account.
excellent sound quality! love it.
Lightning deal but if it runs out there's a, 'Buy one save 20%' making non-lightning price only 1 pound more.
I am tempted but happy with my jbl flip 2, other than the battery life which is only 4-5 hrs and now its ageing a bit
I have one of these for work I also have the Anker soundcore Boost both are great little speakers have some heat
I have this and it sounds great. However, the blue light behind the speaker always stays on and no way of turning it off. Also if running from the battery, i get quite a bit of feedback when i use an aux cable plugged in.

Lol don't be daft
Again not being a d**k but all you saying the sound is good.. 1) what kind of music do you listen to, if you listen to music? and 2) have you back to back listened vs other speakers like a jbl or the cheap aukey even. It's really not good sound on this. i don't know exactly what, dynamic range i think is bad? For what it is, for radio/voice etc for runtime it's astonishing though and the bluetooth is solid. so just depends on your usage.

but wooow is music exciting on a good speaker again after listening to this anker soundcore for days..

Also jbl seem to have dodgy charge ports, which anker don't afaik.
I got the soundcore boost and its the best speaker ever all my mates have purchased the boost aswell. Anker products are quality.

Totally agree with you. I have the Bose mini and this is like a toy in comparison. They are both very similar in size as well. The Bose is a phenomenal speaker for music.

Having had both version 1 and 2 of this speaker, there isn't much of an improvement. Version 2 still massively lacking in bass. It compares well to a first gen jbl flip, but not against anything newer I have.

Yes, not as clear but far better bass than the new soundcore. A better speaker in my view. Originally paid about £23, probably the best value speaker I have

No, you'll need to look at the Soundcore 2.

The price it’s ok. Don’t expect loud quality sound. Just because it’s the near same size as the Bose speaker they are miles apart in sound. I was actually disappointed in the sound quality.
