Soundcore 2 edges it in reviews. The battery life is one of the differentiators. What tips this one as your preferred recommendation?
I've got this and the lower spec one, not used Soundcore 2 but this one is excellent, use it alot on full volume with no loss of quality, always high bass, sounds like you have a system with dual speakers playing!
Use it upstairs and hear it well whilst im downstairs!
I paid £20 but would defo pay this price as it gets used alot and excellent quality!
The build quality is higher than the lower specced one, with a nicer feel to it.
I'd say it's much better than cheaper Anker speakers, and actually very comparable to much more expensive speakers of this size.(namely Bose SoundLink Mini 2 / JBL Charge 3 I tried them all)not quite as high quality as them but very acceptable.and 1/3 price..
only issue is it's not compatible with most samsung TVs if you intend to use it with your TV as well.
it just doesn't work, and there are many complaints about this issue on amazon reviews.
for this reason I returned mine.otherwise it was a good sounding speaker with decent bass.also very pretty.
For sound quality (bass), go for the SoundCore Boost, it is bigger and better. see review below.
Thanks newmann, that helps! I'm more bass bias.
thanks if it compares to jbl charge 2/3 then that's excellent, i have that and the soundcore original, as i said in that deal the soundcore original is let down by very poor sound for music! so i'm hesitant for this also.. hmmm it just bassy or really good full range? anyone compared to the aukey?

great sound quality for currently £28.99! £6 less than this..
I’d be interested in this also
Bought one of these for the wife and was really surprised with the sound on such a device so small. It is weighty with solid construction, and the bass is nice and punchy and fills small to medium sized room.
Many of these speakers are half as powerful, so this makes all the difference.
Ive just ordered another one to use with my Macbook laptop in my office. What I saved on it I bought a Ravpower Micro USB / USB-C charger to use with it and can use to charge my Nexus 6P too.
yeah he(she?) in said video neglects to mention that the original sounds like absolute (poo). again without knowing what music people are into of course it's subjective but... this looks like it was made by a different company, possibly a rebadge? anyway i'm tempted to add to the collection haha.
shame they coudn't have whacked a ridiculously large(r) battery in this one and made it 48 hours plus again (24 was way conservative on the original).
what's cheapest ok case? 10£ + for a case seems silly when this is only 35 eh
This speaker VS the other speaker Chanchi has uploaded (22.50)
I want to know how much more power/louder is this speaker compared to that one
Please someone help, i keep getting mixed answers
simple. this is a lot louder, bigger and probably a lot better sound (can't vouch for that yet myself). the competition for this is e.g. the aukey i posted above, or a jbl flip or something. not the other soundcore.
don't get that other one if you care about sound for music. it's only ok for radio imho.
As in the reason i want to know how much louder is this is because i have the other one already.
So i want to know how many times louder is this to see if its worth buying
6w vs 20w? about.. 3x louder? it's not only that though, it's about quality..
(not sure it really works like that.. loudness isn't propotional to watts is it?)
in plain english, this is a lot louder than that.
I think the best way to find out is to purchase lol. Here goes another £35 on HUKD. Thanks for your time @Smiff

says sound isn't great, below Flip. that was reviewed at nearly 100$ though.
note the flip3 (edit:3 not 4!) is currently £65 so. twice the price. and i've heard has weak usb port (?).
soo. meh. i'd go with the Aukey probably. save £6 over this although i've not done head to head. if you want quality it's more ££

Much better than the Cambridge Audio Go it replaces, even though the Go was 5 star on What Hi Fi (which did flatter it)
No brainier at this price.
Hot deal.
Dont know about bose one, but this is almost same as charge 3. I bought charge 3 for 90 quid(dont regret though its a solid product, and looks premium, also you can charge your phone using it).
People can compare side by side(please use headphone)

boost if fantastic! have some heat
I haven't tried JBL Charge 3 myself yet, but I compared Anker Boost and Bose SoundCore Mini 2 myself side by side and they were close.definitely different sound, and Anker sound more muddy, but with better treble..I'd say Bose was better but not £100 more better, maybe £20 more better!
on it's own, without comparison I'm sure 90% people will be impressed.
In the end I returned the Anker because as I said it doesn't work with Samsung TVs.
That being said many people say JBL Charge 3 is better than Bose,so I'm going to try that one too soon.
