    Warning for those buying this for USB-C to 4K HDMI - it is 4K at 30 HERTZ. This is practically unusable unless you are outputting to a screen that won't be used in a conventional way (e.g. displaying a slide show with no animation or something).
    In my experience 4K@30Hz is fine. You only really need 60Hz if you are playing high end games. Think about it. If it were that bad it wouldn't even be an option.

    I would reject this hub on different grounds. The fact that it does not have an ethernet port. Some hotel rooms still include wired Internet for free, while offering wifi as an extra.

    I bought one of these, worked for a year max and then became intermittent. I thought I was being careful with it as well. Got a belkin now. Much better
