Lots of wrong answers on this thread. It will charge anything that accepts USB-C PD at up to 30W which is fine for most devices. Some laptops will see battery drain when plugged into this though, especially the more power hungry ones (that come with a 100W PSU)

Would this power a chromebook 14 g5 anyone?

I think that needs 45W, so won't charge it ... It does 30W Power Delivery only.

Would it charge an iPad Pro 12.9"?
Morrow0015/06/2020 01:07

No

Really? My P30 Pro charger will but only after switching it on and off a few times. Annoying but works.

It should do, I see some reviews confirming it works with the 2018 model. I take it you will be using the USB C port for fast charging?

"Brilliant, fast charges my iPad pro 12.9" 2018 with appropriate cable (usb-c 3.1)." - review
This is the equivalent updated model of the Anker 60W 5-Port that I’ve regularly been using for the past five years but with the inclusion of USB-C 30W Power Delivery. Looking to replace it with something similar to this but would want the USB-A ports to support QC3.0.

The search continues...
I bought this last Decenber and is works find with all my PD devices (Canon RP camera, HP Spectre x360 etc.). Shame it doesn't have a QC port though for micro USB devices that need it. Well worth the money though!
It has a 20V profile so will charge most laptops though maybe not at full rate. If you've got a 15W CPU then a 30W supply is likely enough for a slow charge.

Also I just paid £32.99 for this yesterday...

It charges mine just fine! Fast charging too!
fa7mi15/06/2020 12:56

Pretty dire if it can’t charge an iPad Pro...

It can
I have this, I also got a Euro and US figure of 8 leads, so I can take it anywhere. Charges my 2017 MBP just fine, and on a night, charges to phones and 2 watches just fine as well.
Is there a version of this that could also charge a 2016 MacBook Pro? Looking to clear some clutter on my desk.

In theory you're right. In practice, I don't know why, but it seems some devices don't. Not sure if it is the charger itself or the laptop. On a previous deal, somebody suggested he's got the Anker 45w and it didn't charge the 65w laptop. Same person replaced it with an Aukey similar specs, and it did charged.
fa7mi15/06/2020 21:03

Thanks for clarifying, someone posted it can’t so I was surprised myself

Normally it will. But at a much slower rate. In practice, some people suggesting getting a 30w-45w charger for their more powerful device, and it didn't...

Yes it will. I purchased this last year and it charges mine fine, just not as quick as the stock charger. It also charges my MBP 16" perfectly over night
Hi ,
Does this plug into a wall ?
If a wireless usb charger is plugged , would it be a fast charger?

Thanks in advance!!!
I use one of these to power my Dell XPS 13 and aside from the BIOS message saying you're on 30W power that you need to disable, there's no issues whatsoever

Of course this plugs into the wall - how else would it work?

It's a fast charger for USB PD devices

Yes it would work.

on the product page, under the price it should say 'apply 60% voucher'... clcik on the tick
Got this device, so simple and efficient at charging all my devices and wouldn't be without it.

Any ideas on how I can do effective cable management when using all 5 ports though?

Thanks for confirming there, that came with the 87w charger and I believe the 16inch comes with a 96w charger.
Does it charge the macbook very slowly? I'm not thinking of using to charge it from dead but keep it topped up while at my desk which I hope is acceptable.

No im pretty sure it comes with 2 x 2.4A by going by the description:
'USB Output 1/2: DC 5V/2.4A Max'

However this is the same USB output as the ANKER product in this thread i.e:
'PowerIQ ports intelligently recognize your device to boost charging speeds up to 2.4A per port.'

Sorry, I didnt quite follow. I have 2 redmi note 8 phone, both were support 18W and QC3. Would the 2 USB A ports on this allow me to charge these phones at fastest speed, at the same time ?

Thanks

Matebook D 15?

I guess you didn't bother to click on the product listing? It even says it will charge the 2018 iPad Pro in the description! From my own personal experience you can even fast charge a 1st generation iPad Pro 12.9" with a 30W PD charger as long as you get a suitable cable (USB-C to lightning)

USB-A ports on this are regular 12W so no QC3 unfortunately. The Note 8 does support PD so you can use the USB-C port to fast charge one of your phones at 18W.

Does anyone know of a good 100w charger or power bank/battery? Looking for both so I can power either a MacBook Pro 15 inch or (separately) an iPad Pro 2020. I think that for the MacBook I'd need about 100w to power both the Mac and a USB-C hub?

As long it comes from the USB C mega super port, have ordered as a replacement travel charger anyway., From the description: Charge Fast, Live More Top up USB-C devices like iPad Pro at blazing-fast speeds from the dedicated Power Delivery port.
