Have they used old spec - iPhone 11 compatibility?
Thanks for that - although been looking for a normal speed charger, but guess this won't fast charge if you have a normal adapter?

I have ordered - thanks.
Been looking at these. From what I can tell if you want fast charging (such as it is with wireless) then you need a 15w wireless charger with a fast charge power source.

I don’t think any manufacture has made it that easy, and expensive ie buy the pad then a charger which is often more, then working out if more than a single usb in the charger if it will work

Oh for standards !
Do you know if you can charge 2 devices at the same time? By this I mean AppleWatch and AirPods wireless changing case.

So I gather, but not many phones can do 15w, which is why the majority top out at 10w. It's even harder if you want a stand and not a mat, and even harder still if you want one without obnoxious LEDs.

So far I've found this one and not a lot else: amazon.co.uk/CHO…XXP

(Whoops! fakespot.com/pro…etc)

Edit: However, the charging output does reduce as the battery comes more charged in order to prolong the life of the battery, so unless you need a big initial boost maybe you'll not mind 10w.

Yes good points, have that in my short list. Also found a 2 pack for 26 minus 3 quid voucher. Fancy 1 at home and 1 for work. 15w too.

If you want to charge an iPhone at 7.5W maximum you need the newer version of this.

Gave up in the end and got the cheap/cheerful/good Anker 10w stand for about £15. The Choetech one appears not to be Qi-certified, it's not mentioned in the listing or Qi's own certification database, though other Choetech ones are so maybe it's a mistake.

There's just nothing really to choose from for 15w and none have amazing reviews. It seems a bit redundant anyway given the purpose of a stand/charger. If I ever need super-fast charging on some occasion I'll just plug the wire in.

The pair of stands I was looking at has 5 stars and good reviews. But I still haven't succumbed. I remembered I had my old foldable wireless charging stand from my LG G3 days!
So dug it out and tried it. It's not tall enough to catch the coil in the phone rear. But it will if i place the phone on its side with an eraser on the little step, lol. So using that for now, to see if I really will bother using a wireless charger in reality.
I also did some research and they say to prolong your battery life you should never charge to 100% or let it drop below 50%. And that fast charging helps degrade the battery life over time. so I have installed a battery app that you can set alarms for low & high. Have set them at 50 & 80%. So I stick it on the wireless charger and it goes from 50 to 80% in maybe an hour, not really checked how long it takes. And the phone lasts quite a while before dropping back to 50%. I'm not a heavy user.
Time will tell if I stay this organised & regimented!

You have more patience than me, for sure! That's one of the reasons I was happy not to have an extreme fast charger, but they all compensate by dropping the charge speed as the battery fills. I can't imagine many people are able to be so specific about charge levels even if they want to.

It annoys me that none of them have a switch though, I'll have to pull the wire out of the back if I want to continue using it as a stand. I spent hours trying to find exactly the right thing and got the feeling that whole area of electronics accessories just kind of... sucks.
15w chargers are there but you'll pay more than double (triple even!) for the extra 5w....
