i bought one of these last time I saw it posted..... as other comments said then, the range of this is awful. I was impressed with the sound but wanted to charge my phone while I listened to this in the bathroom while travelling (so in hotels so the range isn't that great from the main room to the bathroom). No chance. It went back..

Maybe it depends on the bluetooth transmitter - I was using a Note 3.

I have had one since released on introductory offer of £19.99 and its been brilliant have had no issues with connecting devices and sound is great for a small speaker!

Will the code work for any other products?

Thanks

You mean you'll never buy another dodgy Wimpey speaker again?!

Got one. Don't know how it compares to others.
Don't need to either.

Bought one of these last time round, so chuffed with it, sound quality is great for a little speaker and have had no range issues with my iPhone

Nokia do a NFC version which kicks this out the water called the MD-12 and can be picked up for less than this on the popular auction site.

Interesting but why is it better? I have this and I cannot imagine anything this small being better sound wise for this price.

Anker's products are generally low quality. However, they always offer second chance to get the same product for free without any question in exchange for good reviews!

Another previous purchaser, happy with it so far. Battery life is particularly impressive and it feels solid/well made.

Is it any good?? I am clueless with these

just a W away

The blue colour even matches my wife's Spigen case. Many thanks.

Looks decent but would prefer the Kitsound Boombar. A lot louder, passive radiator and a removable Nokia battery. Doesn't really get any better than that does it!

Thanks! Been waiting for another code x

cheers OP, love anker stuff top quality!

i bought one of these for the mrs recently and its awesome:

That one you linked does get very good write-ups - I've seen a few from HUKD recommend it too

aright - if you are still pondering, I'd suggest to you that the Anker one and the one that lukey linked in post #25 would make a great shortlist of 2. Anker might edge it at the moment given the good price reduction (coupled with their post-sale Customer Service).

yup those 2 are the best available for £20-£30 from what i could see

will get a write up done this weekend

I have the black version when they were doing the £10 off voucher (so cost me £20) and its an amazing speaker, not just for its price it is genuinely good

Perfect thanks to all

Tidy little thing. Just ordered yesterday, got it this morning. Works and plays nice. Got a nice feel to it too. Happy dayzz
