Looks like a good price for this model. 5600mAH this is direct from Amazon so should have no problems if it fails. It has 7 reviews all 5 stars. Capacity of this is 5600mAh so I would think it should be good for a number of charges.

Output: DC 5V 1A;
Input: DC 5V 1A;

4 LED indicators show the battery state;

Flashlight for night & darkness use; Double press the power button to turn it on / off

Package includes:
Anker External Battery
3 connectors for most phones
2 extension charge cable (70CM and 15CM)
18 Months Warranty / 24 * 7 Email support

Just what I've been looking for. My portable speakers and iPod will have plenty of charge to last through the festivals this summer while at camp. Heat added!
nowadays you gotta be sure that it will give more than 1/2A output via the output port (i know it gives an output spec of 1A) but best to confirm as the favorite alternative on these forums the technet 5000mah dual usb port is only a couple of quid more
I have the 8400mAh pack from Anker and it is great (especially for long journeys/flights). Mine has a 0.6A and a separate 2A output, but not sure if the 5600mAh model has the same, as it is a different size of battery.

Edit: Judging by the picture it only has one output, and the specs state 1A... so should be there

What kind of life can we realistically expect from these? I'm going on a 4 day mountain climb so this might suit?
Is suitable for Google nexus tablet?

cheers ordered now can watch sky go witrhout running battery down
A lot of tablets have around 3000 -4000 mah batteries so this device would give you approx 1 full charge , maybe a little more on some devices. For a phone look at the mah of your phone battery and add 20% . e.g if your phone battery is 4000mah add 800, so this would give 4800mah , the 20% is what could be lost in transferring the power from one battery to the other, it would not necessarily be so much loss but there will be a loss. I have seen some 30 000mah battery stations which are way overpriced but i am sure the price will come down as they become more popular also they are via alibaba so i will not post the link as you take a chance every time you buy from them, but there products eventually reach shops online so it might be worth looking around a bit.

Two of us got through 3 days of music festival sharing the 4000mAh version of this.
I've got one of these and its fantastic, was able to charge up my iphone 3 times, has got me through a couple of festivals and the grand prix weekend
I think it's a bit misleading to say it's direct from amazon... I know Amazon send it out on behalf of the seller but if you have problems I'm pretty sure it's the seller's decision on what happens as far as a replacement goes rather than Amazon's
Thanks.
