Let's be honest, this will be used for a few hours and then left gathering dust

Apparently not, has more AI than the Mars nasa robots!

That's not hard considering the first rockets into space had less processing power and ram than a basic calculator of today.
But then did it really ever land on the moon?? ;-)

What does it do?

Makes you spend £159.99, distracts you for about 10 minutes then leaves you with a really empty, disappointed, sad feeling like you totally wasted £159.99.

Depends on your interests I suppose, I intend using the SDK with my son, that certainly will take longer than a few hours

I bought one from amazon USA
Deal was posted here for £127
Including tax etc
Saw this featured on The Gadget Show last night where they went to visit Anki in the US. The programming behind it is rather impressive and it features several behaviours from being social to happy and frustrated. It familiarises itself with the surroundings and adapts accordingly.
I first heard about Cosmo like a year or two ago, I'm surprised it has boomed now compared to when it first came out. I want one as it reminds me off Wall-e. But the cost isn't something I could justify.

Pickle Riiick. They actually made a tribute video for R&M.

Available on Amazon for same price
I've no idea what it is, but I want one!
I'll stick to Bigtrak, thanks. Still waiting for it to bring me that apple which I asked it to get for me in 1986.
Is it like Jonny 5. Does it talk and fix itself
Thanks. Ordered!

To Be Fair, You Have To Have a Very High IQ to Understand Rick and Morty

Yes, like knowing the importance of starting nearly every word in a sentence with a capital letter.
I didn't realise it's literally the size of an apple. That's ridiculous. 160 quid for a moving furby that lifts plastic blocks on top of each other...there's some right crap on this forum.
wait until the Chinese clone it, worth about #50

It’s a meme quote, relax.

A Meme quote, that makes baby jebus cry
I’m near sure I saw this featured on tv but for £120 something
I've never seen this before but now I'm quite tempted, my 2 young kids would like this too although it is a little to expensive and not sure if it will get boring quickly
If you hold your nerve, £89 on Christmas Eve
my son got this last year from the US - he loves it endless hours of interactive fun. Anki keep adding new features , not cheap but great toy
Doh we pre-ordered the limited edition one and find it's not limited as they still have loads. Oh well learn for next time
