I tried this over Xmas, and it really is very good. Scalectric for the Yoof of today!
My kids and I love it. They just updated the app with a golden him too

This is super cool.

I was quite disappointed with "Real FX Racing" is this any better?
heat added got this for christmas the kids love it, but it's mine all mine n i'm 43. anki are also doing 20% off cars and other bits.
picking up a second track... This is much cheaper than buying the parts individually. Anyone else combined it?

Scalectric will work after 20 years in the box. Good luck finding support for Anki app few years from now. ;-)

Interesting... I assume you can only use the track pieces though, can't see it letting you race two of the same type of car.

According to Amazon answers, it's no problem. Run all four cars.
i wanted this sooo much, watched and waited for the price to drop, waited and waited, could not justify £100+ (at the time) the more i thought about it the more i thought would me and the kids use enough for the price, i was convinced i would so kept looking than came across a similar thing

amazon.co.uk/Rea…+fx

I actually picked one up from Tesco for £25 but even for £50 its not bad! but have we used it that much... no, i am so glad i never payed £100 as it would be collecting dust now.
i know they are different, one uses your phone and cars recharge while the cheaper real fx uses batteries and has controllers but still do basically the same thing and better than scalextric!
i am not voting and i still think it looks amazing but if like me just think how much will it be used, might be worth looking at cheaper options to get your racing fix!!
