It's no Big Trak

Be careful with this, the company is shutting down in September so may no longer support the app
Supposedly this little fellow has been saved from the gadget scrap heap as another company has bought this part of anki out and will continue the servers (or whatever) going....but whether you can still register a new one??....I don’t know...

It doesn't really do that much - you'd expect it to roam about and find its way but it mostly just sits there and points toward any source of noise.
Digital Dream Labs now own Anki and they have very recently ran an extremely successful Kickstarter campaign to develop new features.
This is a brilliant price and a fun gadget, app is good but can be battery drain. Kids need access to either a phone or tablet which can be troublesome. Great value.

Nice! Cheers @reindeer333
I preordered one of these for £200. The little guy is very cute and entertaining, but certainly not worth the heavy price tag. Sold it for around half the price I paid for it after the announcement of Anki going under. Seems it was the right thing to do. If the servers are staying active it’s a great toy for £50.

You're thinking of cozmo that doesn't work without the app, vector can function without it!
Even better, I paid £130 ish two Christmas ago for the Cozmo and the app thing was the only thing that annoyed me. This is a great buy. Thanks for the info.
Oo, nice must resist!
At this price I might buy another!
I see it at £69.99 on the Costco site >.
Worth noting that these have Alexa built in to the latest software so it does have an extra purpose of being a personal home assistant
No longer listed for sale
These went out of stock after the first day.
