Thanks mate, all done

With all this horrendous American spelling, can I presume that this is a US-based vpn? No thanks.

Thanks

For kodi?

So do they collect 'data' or not?

Privacy Policy

Information That We Collect

AnonVPN, B.V. only collects your email and password. We do not keep logs of connection times, activity, or origin IPs. What we don’t collect cannot be requested.

Use Of Collected Information

AnonVPN, B.V. will only use personally identifiable information collected through our web site to contact users regarding only products and services offered by AnonVPN, B.V. We will NOT share this information with anyone. Period.

Our system only monitors a connection if a user is having connection issues so that we can improve our services to you.

Maintenance of Information

Email and password details that are maintained on our systems are protected using industry standard security measures.

AnonVPN's Log Keeping Policy

Our logging policy is quite simple, we don't log anything. We don't log any activity of our users at any time. AnonVPN = NO LOGS.

Our Canary Policy

As of 2015-12-18 we've not had any gag orders relating to our users or our IP's.

So no logs, but they do collect 'personally identifiable information'. I suppose that could mean user/password information. But it does sound a little ambiguous.

Spot on!

It's a bit dodgy that there is no public list of server locations on their website.

Its not, its ProXPN under a different guise/reseller etc etc

Using static servers [not rotating servers] with same bank of IP's [until banned] in each location..

Amazing price if you want to use now and then, but dog slow compared to PIA [best in the business!] and others on offer..

Bill also runs AsiaVPN but currently not $1.01 for a year!!!

Yeah that sounds about right. 6 servers and 3 of those are in America. Seems a bit useless to me really unless you want it for TV services.

Ok for most uses apart from downloading really. Pretty good for 70p I reckon

Couple of speedtests and I'm seeing 50ms ping, 9Mbps down/10Mbps up
Plenty fast enough for unlocking regional tv streams and anonymous browsing for me.

There is a good reason for using US servers in certain states and that is because they are (surprisingly) better protected legally against against authority intervention.

hows it like for p2p?

jeez tough crowd today. a years basic VPN for 70p and it can't even get warm.

anyone got this to work with the "manual settings" at anonvpn.io/ios…php ?

> Currently includes 6 servers

yeah, good luck using this at peak times!

I know its cheap, but when you compare some of the bigger names in VPN this is small potatoes

may be OK for faking location for purchasing though

What would you do with this?

bit odd just signed up for this and 10mins later i get an email from google saying my account showed activity from a US location and was blocked. I didnt sign into google or use the same password on sign up but i did use the gmail address to signup to try the vpn.

for those of us who need some guidance

Which VPN Services Take Your Anonymity Seriously? 2015 Edition 2015 list

airvpn looks good

anyway whether a vpn is free or very cheap, i would proceed with caution as my basic understanding is you are routing data through a 3rd party.

Couldn't this just be Gmail checking for new mail and going through the VPN? Were you logged into Gmail (or have the Gmail app) on the device you connected to the VPN?

Go for AirVPN if you are an advanced user or NordVPN if you are a basic user!

Thank you for that information

Decent for 70p what have you got to lose?

Will come in handy for sure. Heat added!

Are the servers where you can pretend to be? I want to watch premiership football so a country that supplies that service for either free or cheaply would be best. Is this possible? So new Zealand or India seem good shouts... Sorry don't fully understand all of this... Thanks in advance

Thanks! Never tried a vpn
