Tracking tips and tricks

Around 98% of purchases will track to your Quidco activity successfully, however, there may be an occasion where your purchase doesn’t track. Below is a checklist of tips to follow to help with any tracking issues but remember, if your purchase doesn’t track, the first thing you should do is a raise a missing cashback claim so we can get that cashback tracked into your activity manually:

Make sure you’re signed in. Cashback will only track into your account if you click through from a signed-in account.
Make sure cookies are enabled on your browser and pop-up ad blockers are disabled.
Make sure you’re not using a private or incognito browser.
Keep open windows to a minimum.
Complete your purchase in one go. Saving your shopping basket to complete at a later date can cause your cashback to be declined as too much time has passed for the referral to be paid to us.
If you'd like some help with setting up your browser for more successful tracking, please visit this link.

Couldnt agree more! I cancelled my account with these after not paying out and not honouring deals! Customer service was shocking, surprised they are still going personally.
It's quidco.. so cold..

Guess you use phone browser for shopping. The cookies need to enabled in the web browser to enable information sharing between shopping website and cashback website.

I had similar experiences on phone but never failed on the laptop for both Quidco and TCB.
I find Quidco always tracks for me but despite me seemingly meeting all the requirements I get a higher than TCB declined amounts which somewhat defeats the whole cashback model!

I was not eligible for yesterday's Quidco bonus deal but I am for this one - so glad I waited to make a purchase! Thank you @hallucagenie
Thanks OP, I'm eligible as well
I normally avoid Quidco like the plague as they are dire compared to TCB but my success rate is 100% on these bonuses. I received £7.50 bonus on a £5 spend I think it was a little while back. Tracked and paid.

...I beg to differ, I just had cashback declined by TCB,after raising claim for it, again, even though I have offered them the whole web browser history of transaction in question, and with Quidco at least when I raise a claim and push comes to shove, they pay what's due

Naturally, experiences of individuals differ.

Cashback is never guaranteed even if you think you've done everything right and it tracked as at the end of the day the retailer can simply reject it for any reason or no reason and there's nothing that can be done really.

Personally I've never had any issues with TCB paying out over many years but the same cannot be said for Quidco. Not that it matters, as this doesn't mean it applies to everyone.
hi, anyone knows if I could qualify for such bonus as I shop over £15 however only show tracking of £13.88 instead? thanks a lot.

Yes, should work again, if you opt in but dont buy anything it will disappear in few months. No free money here I'm afraid.

...excuses, excuses, if you ask me, how the heck aren't they able to trace transaction, if one provides its order number

"Hi there,

We have recently been provided with a resolution to your claim, and I'm sorry to say that the merchant has taken the decision to decline your claim on this occasion.

The reason that has been supplied for this in helping to clarify states that your 'Transaction cannot be traced'.

This does suggest that the merchant has been unable to locate your queried transaction based upon the information that you have provided as your main order number for this claim, and as such, has had to decline your claim and cashback.

However, if you are able to provide any alternative order references then we would be happy to see if we can dispute this for you and attempt to recover your expected cashback.

Kind Regards,
Tom"

I know, as you can see the retailer can simply reject it and deny the transaction had tracked with them via the referral programme they operate. That's the risk you take sadly, it's never guaranteed. I hope with some more pushing you're able to get a resolution.
Does this include Amazon? I know amazon are on Quidco, but didnt want to rush to buy something.
looks like i might have to make a claim for the last bonus, my Ebay order hasnt tracked,
yet i ordered from Ebay the following day and that has tracked

il give it a couple of days before i put in a claim and see if it turns up

Lucky you, mine tracked OK but the Ebay purchase associated with it hasn't yet

Funny how the Ebay purchase the following day has tracked thou
Mine tracked straight away with Fonehouse. Haven't used Quidco in a long time. Hope they payout is quicker than before
I'm keeping out of this thread. I got an infraction warning from the Infraction Moderator on the quidco deal 3 days ago and my comments were deleted.

Yeah some categories are included but in my experience the tracking from Quidco to Amazon is shocking (it's not brilliant on TCB either) so make sure you make a note to check it tracks and register a support request if it doesn't.
OMG there is nothing I need to buy!!

Quidco/TopCashBack can't just take your word for it.

And ultimately, cashback sites have no incentive to lie. Paying out on referrals is their entire business model, if they don't then nobody will use them and they'll go bust. Paying out doesn't matter either way to retailers, they still get the sale. All the incentive to be sketchy or incompetent is on them.

...I am not saying they lie, in this particular case Very is the main culprit in my opinion, but TCB just thrown gloves too quickly for what is worth probably due to low value of purchase and need of Bonus payment on top of retailer's cashback
