Another Chromecast deal from Wuaki with Mad Max Fury Road for £22.99!

Found 16th Nov 2015
Was keeping a casual eye on Wuaki's site for another Chromecast deal, as still on the lookout for a deal for folks.
Just noticed the above deal:
Chromecast 2
Mad Max Fury road in SD
Delivery in 4-7 days
Price has dropped to £22.99 (includes shipping) now though which i think is one of the cheapest deals so far?
Deal ends midnight 18th November...

Even if Mad Max is not your cup of tea, or you don't like it in SD, still pretty cheap for a new chromecast. Hopefully good for some of you...

Early Black Friday deal

this should go white hot
To achieve an 8.2 rating on IMDB , you can`t be a cr*p movie imdb.com/tit…90/ I haven`t seen it, but recall the many favourable reviews. Mymemory are selling the OLD Chromecast refurbished for a couple of quid less, with no movie or full warranty. I can`t see this new Google device going much lower than 20 quid come Black Friday.
Witnessed!
Will wait till nearer Xmas got chromecast for £18 last year
Ordered thanks OP

Yes more like Mad Maxines than Mad Max. Dull movie imho. Not bad deal if you need it soon.
finally succumbed and bought. Thanks OP
I can see where this deal is going to go already - lots of comments on how rubbish the film is blah blah blah. The film is IRRELEVANT here, the Chromecast here is £7 cheaper than anywhere else currently. So that makes it a deal with or without the film bundled. Voted HOT.

The film is fast paced and deserves to be seen in HD.

Was not a fan of the old chromecast and that has put me off this one, sold it and spent the cash on a nowtv2 box.

Anyway, added heat

Irrelevant to the deal but just to be controversial I quite liked the film
ShowBox on the phone and casting to TV via wireless display for me. I don't see a point to invest in extra equipment unless your TV doesn't support wireless function.
Lets be honest, no one cares about the movie, we just want the chromecast.

Fantastic price for the new chromecast 2 and highly recommend.

Also, for those who will inevitably come in saying "it offers no new features" - it doesn't, but then it doesn't need to as it already had a million and one features. What the upgrade does do is let it do these features far better and more reliably than the previous revision did.

I used to struggle using my chromecast via wifi from my laptop - had to use it from my PC via ethernet (i.e. ethernet to router then wifi to CC) and even then I got lagging and disconnects on a semi-regular basis. Since I've gotten the CC2 I've had no issues what so ever. Unsure if it is because of the additional antennae or due to using 5ghz wifi, but regardless it works like an absolute charm now.

Getting a second one for the living room now, cheers OP!
Just ordered, am surprised it let me do it as I ordered the older version on chromecast from the with the series of The 100 for £20. I have only made a single 99p movie offer weekend rental from them. This is the current cheapest way to buy a chromecast.
Anybody own both old and new Chromecast and would like to let us know if the difference is worth it.

Not too happy with my old one as it doesn't auto-switch HDMI very well and needs rebooting all the time.

I sold the old version. I personally had no problems with it. I upgraded to v2, it responds a lot faster if you've got ac wifi. The old version didn't have that. If you already have a v1 and it works okay for you, there's no real need to upgrade. But if you're new to chromecast get v2 for the few extra quid.
Great deal, i have 3 of the old type and they all work superbly.... But want the new type not sure where i can use it though

Give any spare cash sloshing around in your coffers that you wont miss, to charity, or a worthwhile cause. (_;)
is this different to chromecast audio or does the new chromecast have functions to connect to tv's and speakers now ?

I guess a lot of people are entertained by 2 hours of explosions. I like a bit of a story to go with my special effects. First half an hour or so was entertaining, but once I realised it was going nowhere it just became incredibly tedious. I couldn't wait to leave the cinema. Possibly the most overrated steaming pile of dung ever to assault my eyeballs.
Topcashback tracked at £2.20 too.
Feck! Wish I'd gone for this deal instead of San Andreas, which was utter sh*te. That said, the Chromecast is sitting gathering dust - I had 3 of the old style already...
Is this for new accounts only or something? Was unable to process with my existing account!
Just to speak about the movie, I watched it in the cinema and it's absolutely epic - if you love high octane action. Brilliant film
Cheers OP. Ordered.

Agreed! Not exactly high brow but as long as you go in with that kind of expectation it's a lot of fun!
Tried it with my GF's account and it worked fine. Weird, but ordered, so won't worry about it!
To repeat, on IMDB, Fury Road is rated as highly as Casino, Blade Runner, Lock, Stock.....
all with 8.2 stars. imdb.com/cha…top Wuaki must think it`s Cyber Monday already!
SD? Did I miss something and we we're all transported back to 1985 on Back to the Future Day recently?

Not quite, they could have easily ninja edited everything after the first 30mins and called it good

Had to do it, tbf I've seen much worse and it filled a whiskey soaked evening admirably.
Thanks OP - ordered :-)
Can this be used to beam movies to a tv from a NAS or iPad?
