That is cheap tbf, heat!
£48.51 now
The price is jumping - I guess is tied up to a currency exchange, somehow.

I have a Seiko 5 and it is far more accurate then my Planet Ocean. I haven't had to set it in over 3 weeks. Yes, it hurts a watch I paid £118 is far more accurate than one I paid a hell of a lot more for.

I have SNK 621K in my small collection and I loved.
Are these no longer made in Japan?

Are these no longer made in Japan?

From memory, the Japanese model has J as the last or second to last character in the model name. K, I think, stands for Singapore rather than Korea. No letter means it's for the SE Asian market (not sure of manufacture location) and P might be Poland.
Very slight difference in quality, a little bit of a mark up (J) and, I think, J is relevant mainly to collectors / those who will wear for a few months and then sell.

I was going to suggest this (re Automatics and regulating the time....) but maybe you'd be leery about opening it up.

The simplicity of using Audacity to measure beats is good rudimentary solution for a nearly new (i.e. not needing a service) watch. I have a feeling that there is an averaging required if doing this because accuracy varies according to the orientation of the watch.

Mind you. I shudder at the thought of anyone without training opening up an Omega though (although that's probably my fear of trashing something so expensive)
Got my Seiko 5 through yesterday, a really lovely watch in its simplicity. Price fluctuates quite a lot so definitely tied to exchange rates or something, had to keep checking until it came back down to this price again. Thanks OP.
Smoking, which model did you get?
