Great case! Using one right now.

Something that has to be mentioned is dust! These cases pull in dust like you would not believe, if you must go for this older version then get some dust filters, I made my own out of the thin sponge material that comes supplied with motherboards, I take it off and hoover once a week and it does the job just fine. Temps have only risen by a degree or so since fitting.

Alternatively, go for the 2nd version (902) for just under £10 more: ebuyer.com/pro…939 as this comes with the dust filters built in.

I have used cooker hood filters in the past cut to size.

Bought mine more than year ago for 55 quid!!!

£69.31 on scan/todayonly..... (great case though)

Does anyone know how this compares to the coolermaster CM 690?

I have the Antec and the 690II.

The cooling on the 690 is excellent but you need to buy more fans.It does come with filters.

The Antec is excellent out of the box but could do with filters.

Also depends if you want a window ?

The free shiping offer on scan hardly ever works, and secondly, don't you think its worth putting that info in your original post ?

The free shipping at scan has worked for me fine & lots of other folk on this site for a long time now. It's mentioned on just about every post for a deal at Scan.

Don't want to be seen as adding fuel to the fire, but feel it only fair to add my thumbs up for Scan and their free shipping deal. I've used the offer many, many times with no problems.

According to the scan forum deal order has to be over £75 + VAT for free shipping plus making 20 posts on the forum. Can you confirm I have got that right ?

Another bit says £20+VAT. Can you show me which is correct. If the first bit is correct, the deal you mentioned does not apply.

The minimum order value of £75 + VAT started in Nov 09 but received many complaints, they then changed it back to £20 + VAT. AFAIK it hasn't gone back up but I haven't made a purchase for a while.

Yea, still £20+vat. I think they have removed to post cap too.
Todayonly deal gone now. Back up to £73 anyway ..
