On a world left unfinished by EA, a shadowy faction threatens all of humankind. The only thing that stands between these villains and the ancient technology they covet are the Freelancers.

Join with up to three other players and assemble high-tech, hand-crafted, uniquely powerful exosuits. Explore vast ruins, battle deadly enemies, and claim otherworldly artifacts. With every mission, you and your Javelin exosuit grow in power. Fight the dangers of an ever-changing world. Rise united to defeat evil. Triumph as one. Anthem invites you to experience a co-operative Action-RPG set in a new and mysterious world from BioWare and EA.

KEY FEATURES

Team up with up to three other players in cooperative adventures that reward both teamwork and individual skill. Each players choice of Javelin exosuit will shape their contribution and strategic role on the team. Set out together on an expedition or drop a contract to call in friends to assist with difficult challenges. As you explore, you will discover a gripping story filled with unique and memorable characters. Seamless and intelligent matchmaking will ensure you can quickly and easily find other players to adventure alongside.

Move at incredible speed, rocket across the skies, or safely roam watery depths. As you play, you will constantly have the opportunity to progress both your own abilities as a Javelin pilot and the combat and traversal capabilities of your exosuits.

Legion of dawn edition is cheaper at Smyths (£12.99). Removed it from title, my apologies.
Well that fell fast

Regret picking it up at launch, not sure how it is with recent updates but may be better. Isn't bad for the price though. Would NOT pay full price.

You think the legion of Dawn edition has any benefits or are they mostly cosmetic with same stats as standard items?

Can't really comment as I only had the base game
Is this not still broken? & a waste off a Download?
I will try at this price. Is there any kind of story in this game or did they lie about that aswell
Wow. So highly anticipated
Lmao
Game is good! People should just give it a go. They should have fleshed it out more before release is my only issue. Play with friends also.
is it stil crashing ps4?
£9 in Asda last night, PS4 and Xbox, if you don't want to wait for delivery
Wait a few more months and it will go free to play - then die about 6months after that

Didn't EA cancel all plans for their development on the Anthem roadmap recently?

EA access.
It's not a bad game, especially at this price. Definitely worth a look.
Epic introduction- a World left unfinished by EA dragging the good name of a beloved game studio into the mud is .....

Realistically.. no. If you into "looter shooter" (coincidentally this game barely has any worthwhile loot) kind of games and don't own Destiny 2, try that as it is free ot play now. Infinitely better with devs who actually care about the game. With everything that has happened in recent years I don't understand how people keep putting faith in EA/Activision/Bethesda and their games.

Tl;dr - No, game is still ass and all the stuff they promised cataclysm updates would be, isn't.

The base game is now free and the next big expansion shadowkeep is paid. It is 2 years old now so the decision makes sense. Let the base game go F2P to bring in more players. It has now migrated to Steam from Battlenet too.

destiny 2 free on ps4? where?
Can you play this solo or do you have to do every mission with a team? Hated it in the beta when if you got left or went off the beaten track you were just warped back to the team whihh took ages.

It's exactly the same as in the beta. Steer clear, the game is garbage and has had nothing of note added since launch. Unfortunately I'm a trophy junky and getting the platinum on this was PAINFUL.
I'd imagine they will try and slowly salvage it or maybe rerelease it.

In which case, this might be a good investment to buy and let it sit on the shelf. Even if it doesnt you'll probably still be able to sell it for £6/7.

No man's sky fell to these levels and it's on eBay for like £20 now due to the updates.
getting test 2?
On a world left unfinished by EA...

Worth the post just for that!
absolutely love this game now, most of the issues have been fixed and the immersion is staggering. This game has come a long way from the lost cause it once was. Game play is balanced and varied. For £8 you should just try it.

When it’s £8 I’ll give it a go
