Anti-freeze at poundland

20
Found 8th Dec 2012
After paying £2.50 for Anti-freeze recently I saw some in the Waterlooville Poundland store. It is also on the website so I assume it is national.

Just noticed similar deal posted 2 days ago. I'll leave it posted for now as this one specifies it is formulated to British standards.

Fell free to vote cold, you might get a horn devil flamedeer.

This stuff is only going to make your screenwash turn in a horrible stinky goo
excellet for a pound
Anti-freeze is high-tech stuff these days and it is not all the same or compatible. For only a pound you could wreck your engine. BEWARE!
Love this with a vodka

I prefer to put it into the water container to prevent the radiator from freezing. For screen wash i prefer to use screen wash.(_;)

Forgive my ignorance, but i would be most obliged if you could elaborate on that statement.

I am now wondering, when it was low tech, was is not likely to wreck your engine. Not exactly progress:|

Google is your friend and will return dozens of sites if you'd like to educate yourself but here's one that doesn't use long words for you:

bluecol.co.uk/ind…=75

The main issue is that if you mix different types you'll regret it! Mock it if you will but it's sound advice offered with good intent. I wonder how many Poundland buyers even consider compatibility? "Green antifreeze does not mix with long life antifreeze. Never mix the two colours in a cooling system. The organic acids in orange types will cause precipitation of silicates in the green type..."

Of course - if you're unsure just don't use any - especially for the next few weeks! oO

Thanks but this is about how green does not mix with orange. Surely the poundland one is blue.I will buy some and if it is the wrong colour i will put it out for next doors cat, apparently it is a nice Christmas treat. I will head over to my friend Google just to make sure.
