I bet there is some lovers of this stuff in HUKD community.
Last time seen in Lidl probably 3 years or so ago. But due to demand its back !
Long story short:

5L of "Ultimate Speed" screenwash with anti-freeze for £5.99

Not to be confused with cheap "screenwash" at the supermarkets and Halfords etc. This stuff will work down to -60c undiluted or if you mix it 1:1 will work down to -20c or 2:1 will work down to -10c (15 liters for 6 quid)

Suitable for fan jet nozzles

Type in "Ultimate Speed screenwash" in Google and read peans about it from all over the world

As my grandma used to say "if it taste bad it must be good for ya"
Great screenwash. Lasts for ages

Something tells me this deal will go hot.

Sure the last bottles i bought were 4.99. Given how long a bottle has lasted me i cant complain (nearly 2 years for keeping 2 cars topped up).
brilliant stuff. i remember it being 3.99!
Great, I haven't been into Lidls in two years since they stopped stocking this stuff.
Will have to visit again!
This is a best-selling screenwash in Eastern Europe, where winter temperatures are often way below ours. Seen it on sale in Romania and Hungary.
Is it safe for the paint work doesn't antifreeze usually damage it.
Any seen in Scotland? Been to Ayr, but no stock yet.
Great to see it back in stock, even if price has increased.
Was £4.99 last time I bought it but I won't grudge £5.99. By far the best screenwash in winter. The Halfords stuff has frozen several times on me this winter and I've been using it neat for the past couple of months! Will get the Lidl stuff for winter and switch in the summer. My last bottle lasted 3 years.
None of this 'concentrate' in the Ashington store (Northumberland), only the ready-mix stuff. I am down to my last drops of my last 5 litre of Ultimate Speed. Its good stuff, works well and does the job.
Yep - the best!

As a proof of concept, they call it "Frost Protector" item no 202817
Fabulous stuff. Open my last one a week, ago, with the threat of snow and ice that didn’t hit the south of England ! Must restock if my local has any.
I bought some a few years back - but it really does smell awful. Every time I squirted it on the windows the smell used to get into the car. I only got through about a litre before it had to go down the drain.
Amazing, I was in my garage last night looking at my last bottle of this stuff, and longing for the day it would be back in stock again. This stuff is amazing, can be diluted, and diluted, and diluted over and over again and will never freeze. Must be over three years since I bought my last stock, we have five cars in the family and the supply has lasted us all this time. I am a heavy windy scoosher, never flick without a scoosh first, so use a lot. Also cant connect with the smell comments, the Halfords and Eurocarparts smelly stuff turns my stomach, and leaves a crap residue in the bottom of the scooshy bottle.
Been driving for almost 50 years, and this IMHO is the best ever.
PS. Just driven back home and outside temperature was minus 7 degrees, and my scooshy was still working. The concentration must have been diluted to less than 10 to 15%.

ON my last bottle after picking several up years ago - when (if) it gets very cold just chuck some of this in undiluted and you're golden
I miss their ultra concentrated screen wash they used to stock. Slender bottle which you measured out the concentrate in the container's resovoir before adding to your washer bottle. Heat added for this one though and I'll be stocking up.

Currently on the last litre of Halfords berry scented screen wash which has served well and smells decent.

None in my local either, only readymix. As it's not on the website, maybe it's just some old stock they've found? It would be great if not, and they start selling it in all stores again.

Yes anti freeze does damage the paintwork, maybe if it's in small quantities it's fine.

Me too, the W5 stuff, seemed to be relabelled SONAX whcih is €2 Germany but about £8 here on amazon.

I remember ~10 years ago when LIDL sold 5 litres of W5 screenwash which stated down to -67˚ for £3.99 then it changed to a darker blue Ultimate Speed down to 60˚c at £4.99 then £5.99.

None of this in either branch on Mansfield Road Nottingham, just the £1.99 ready to use blue water.
I can't see this being found in a stock room as the stockroom are very small and stuff just gets wheeled straight into the shop.

Terrific stuff. Used it for a few yrs and beats every other brand I've tried. Use it on 6 cars in the wider family!
Can anyone comment if this stuff is any good?

Hope you are joking
Went on a special trip to my local Lidl's last night to buy some of this, but only the rubbish W5 stuff was there. Then had to make a purchase to avoid a car park fine coming through the post. Hate their car parking fine nonsense....

aye
Couldnt see this in the Eastern Avenue Gloucester store, just the W5 stuff, is that no good then ?
None in Penicuik. First visit there since they introduced the stupid parking rules, I generally boycott the store now due to that.
Lots of people commenting on how good this is are u able to use this on frozen over windscreen or is that a bad idea for the morning instead of the usual slightly tepid tap water will save me putting the bucket back in if it can be but I'm thinking the wipers will.get damaged or possibly the motor as most cars as soon as the wiper jets squit the wipers turn on
This stuff i great, I am just finishing off the one from 2 years ago so good timing

Yeah, it's great for that... I have used it as a de-icer - I had an empty trigger de-icer bottle and filled it with some of this stuff neat/undiluted and it defrosted the windscreen a treat... I could probably have diluted it 4:1 tbh and it would still have worked fine.

Interesting that you're in Northern Ireland. Last place I saw this was in LIDL at Junction One, Antrim. Not seen any in our local (Scottish) branch since then. Could it be an Ireland-only line, and be coming in through Dublin? Anyone in the Republic seen this south of the border?

Hard to judge mate, last time i seen it before was good 2-3 years before, which seems to be consistant with people commenting that they are running out of 2 years supplies... i hope its not just one off and its back for good. Maybe you guys across the shock are gonna get it later in a week... hopefully
