never heard of this program. Anyone else on HUKD?

Its Zemana i think, different foremat. Same company.Very good deal .Hot.

Is the free version of Malwarebytes still not a better option?

this appears to be a comparison of the two but suggests that the one in the deal has a very high false positive rate

this review placed it above malwarebytes through

The free version of Malwarebytes is good but doesn't have real time protection. This is a rebrand of zemana apparently and gets pretty good reviews around the Internet and is pretty well regarded on wilders forums (the security software forum). Hot from me.. Thanks for finding.

I have zemana all i can say is beware because mine when it updates does NOT update to the fox one up to you different website different company

Same company .setup exe says Zemana.

I read one review of this that said when it's idle in 'real time' mode it literally takes 0% CPU usage. although, to be fair, it said when it's scanning, it takes 100% ...

I'm going to grab it anyway.

installed and it looks like I've 380 days left as premium

yeah it's only a one year licence - it's not lifetime. still, it's worth it for a premium version with real time protection I suppose.

Mine says 15 days remaining and asks me to buy it. I didn't see anywhere to put the code in though. What did I miss?

Thanks, I just read the email that said the same thing.

This and Zemana are pretty good if all you use on your PC are popular programs. However it treats simply it not recognising a program as an infection and deletes it.

i have zemana as mentioned above this is not zemana bitdefender blocks installation of this one finds a trojan

Apparently it gets flagged as malware by avira too despite the developers emailing the avira team. Read the wilders forum above they are the experts on these types of software. You could upload to virustotal too and check if it is flagged by other avs. In the link above it discusses the rebranding a little. I'm starting to sound like I work for the company now so if you would like a good free alternative instead have a look on Moneysaving expert forums or techsupportalert.Com they both have pretty good advice.

That is just a scanner.

BitDefender detected the ZAM.exe as a Trojan and blocked it !

Have to say the free version of mailwarebytes has never let me down, such an excellent bit of software. But this has to be worth try. Voted hot and installed.

Didn't install it thereafter

it's very likely been flagged because of the sharewareonsale installer. i've installed it and removed the installer afterwards and i don't have any issues.

I ignored the the shareware installer and went straight to the website. I whitelisted it on my antivirus last night.
