'Not suitable for household room illumination. What on earth are they for …'Not suitable for household room illumination. What on earth are they for then? !

More accurately, the description should read 'not adequate for household room illumination'. Such bulbs are for decorative use. The give a feint decorative glow. (They are incandescent 'hot wire' bulbs, not LED).

Mood lighting.
£19.99 my ass. It is a decent price, but no way 90% off, absolute top whack I pay a fiver for these.
Is that 60w for each or the 10?
Ultra low 2000 hour lifespan. At least it is more honest then the blatant lies on some cheap LED bulbs.

That's almost a year @ 6 hours a day, every day, so not too bad at all.

The same as an incandescent. 10,000 to 50,000 hours was meant to be the norm for LED.

These aren't LED. Nowhere in this post or on the item page suggests that they are.

What? You're allowed to say 'oh, my bad. I thought they were LED' you know.
I was assuming they are LED incandescent lookalikes.
Looks like I was wrong when I saw them instore.

I was also unaware that the amount of light these emit is negligible. It says 'unsuitable for lighting'.
So these imitate LED filament bulbs, but without the light.

Ultra cold.

Have similar thing in Poundland
Cold for me.

There's no excuse any more to buy/sell filament bulbs!
