well i cant find any info, i'm thinking it works on a movement/vibration sensor, so when you leave the bike outside the shop you arm the alarm, a chav touches your bike, then a loud alarm sounds with flashing lights, chav then rides off into the night.

in the near future I'm hoping a tiny tracking device (that runs on 2g/3g) will be created, which sends a mobile alert for movement and gps location sent frequently..
whenever i have looked at them they run on bluetooth/wifi

Main problem with gps trackers I've looked in to is they frequently turn out to track using the cell phone network (ie hopeless) and not to have a GPS chip! And the real ones tend to be tied to chinese servers and often have poor reception according to reviews.

Here's a gps tracker (at least it claims to use GPS, I haven't checked) with 2g and a vibration sensor, but it isn't waterproof and is 40mm x 35mm.

Here's a pet tracker that's a little bit smaller and waterproof but no vibration sensor:- banggood.com/Mic…rch

The reviews look fake on that site, a few years time I think we'll sort this out ..
