Any 2 Tassimo packs for £6 at Tesco stores and also online.

A pack or lattes or macchiatos is £4.99 normally, so buying 2 packs for £6 saves you £3,98. This beats the Sainsburys occasional deal where they do 20% off. For Tassimo owners this is a hot deal all the way, and an opportunity to stock up. .

This offer has been running in Tesco for about 4 weeks already, so will probably end soon, unless this is a second round of the same offer.

the offer expires 2nd january

Been going a few days now. Stocked up on the latte 4.99 or 2 for 6 can't go wrong, expiry dates dec 14

Not usually, you have to order them direct from Tassimo

I've tried the milka hot chocolate, personally I find it sweet and artificial. I ordered mine from tassimo, don't believe it's available instore

Just received our order from Tassimo using the £20 voucher you get for registering the machine, but will probably stock up with some from Tesco while they are on offer.... hopefully last us a while!

Incidentally, this offer only seems to be on at the larger/main stores - the Tesco Express near us has T-discs, but not on this offer.

It depends on the drink.

There are generally 16 discs in a pack, however some coffees/lattes/Chocolates have 8 coffee or choc discs and 8 milk/creamer discs, and you use one of each disc per drink - so they make 8 drinks.

There are some coffees and chocolates that have 16 discs in a pack with no milk/creamer (e.g. Americano coffee or suchards hot chocolate), and these use 1 disc per drink, and therefore make 16 drinks.

I agree, was not impressed with the Milka.

Great deal when you are used to paying £4.99 all year. Time to stock up!!

Is suchard good, and what is the proper way to make the caramel machiato?

So at the best price you pay between 20p-40p per drink plus you have to pay for machine and running cost?
Quite costly.

The Suchard chocolate is lovely. I havent tried the Milka but I've tried the Cadbury which is fine but not luxurious tasting like the Suchard. I do two Suchard discs and a milk disc, in one mug, for a normal sized mug of tasty rich chocolate. More often though I have one espresso disk (Mastro Lorenzo yummy), one Suchard chocolate disc and one milk disk into a mug, for a rich mocha drink.

One quite important thing I've found as the kitchen is colder in winter, put your chocolate disk into a cup of boiling water for a couple of mins to melt the chocolate properly. Otherwise you can end up with a watery drink and half the chocolate still stuck in the disc. I don't mind doing this, as I like my cup heated up first anyway.

if you buy online, stick 20 packs though= £60.

there's a £12 off £60 voucher in the voucher section of hukd.

:-)

You can run just hot water through with the disk, with a short press of the button like when you first bought it, whenever you like really - say after a few uses or when changing between different types of pods. You can also take out the piercing nozzle and holder to run them under a tap.

I haven't had my machine long enough to know how often it will ask to be descaled but a light will come on to show this. This requires either tablets or I've seen people say you can use Oust instead in the tank. This is a special cycle which I think you start by holding in the start button.

Im interested to know what any of you tassimo users think of the machine in comparison to the senseos.
I bought a senseo last week, primarily because you could use the coffee duck which i don't think is available for other machines but im really interested in peoples opinion who have experience of both.

I use lemon juice in warm water to descale mine!

Been on for a while now, good deal. Amazon also do quite a few of these for £15 (5 packs of same tdisks) and you can subscribe and save to get 5% or even 15% off if you have 5 or more items on your s&s order so even better deal available for bulk orders. Just a heads up.

My hubby and I love Costa and when one opened just down the road from us we were there 3 or 4 times a week after school! We bought a Tassimo to save money on trips to the coffee shop! And love it! Yes there are times when only a skinny Gingerbread latte with extra cream and sprinkle (!?!?) and the lovely cosiness in our local Costa will do but hey, for the most we LOVE Tassimo and this is a fab offer had we not just bought a ton of Intense Espresso pods in France for the lovely price of 1euro per pack and then used the 10 off 25 for milk creamer pods!

Weird. Every time I glance at the picture for the deal I see Jim Morrison.

I rarely have anything except Espresso (every morning, sometimes 2) or Cafe Creme which are around the £3.50 mark. Cheaper to use the recurring deals on the Tassimo site and buy in bulk.

I am curious what the cadburys chocolate is like (for the wife and kids) - anyone tried them?

I had a Senseo for a year or so. The coffee is fine as a day to day coffee. The Tassimo coffee is more like coffee shop coffee. Also with the Tassimo you have a wider option of types of coffee - espresso, latte, cappucino etc which you dont get with the phillips. Down side for the Tassimo is the machines cost more and the pods cost more but you get a £20 voucher when you register your machine and there are discount codes every couple of months so you dave in the end. The Tassimo is also easier to fill, easier to clean and looks more stylish. The pods also dont leak like the phillips ones.

For purely the best coffee taste, tassimo every time, its the nearest to proper coffee, not quite the same but it takes about a minute for a cup of cafe creme so you cant complain.

Smug bean consumer will be smug?

Tassimo owners insult themselves by spending more money on a worse cup of coffee via a lifetime of compatible consumables. Hook, line, sinker.
