Any size Pizza for just £7.99 Delivered @ Dominos Pizza

I love the Tuesday deal, but this one is ten times better. Usually £9.99 for Pizza Delivered, however found out about a promotion running via SMS from Dominos. Looks like it isn't region specific, but when promotion starts (12/3) will update deal

I will be ordering a Large Meateor next week and giving the delivery driver a tip! Even if i give him 50p, it's still a good deal!

I was thinking the same thing - 50p you should be ashamed!

You can always collect anytime at my local and get buy one get one free, any size.

Nothing better than being able to have a few pints and get your pizza delivered to the door. I sometimes collect, but knowing its the same price for delivery is sweet! I can't wait until monday for my Meateor

A tip because they're being paid to deliver food to you
Anyway, COLD - I'm on a diet...I'm kidding of course, along with pies, pizza is always going to get heat from me!

Can you please explain how on earth this is 10X better?

You seem to have a bit of an over reaction to a pizza that costs around 40p to make.

Doubt you need any dips with the excitement you have expressed for a piece of bread with toppings.

I do hope someone tells me to get a grip if I nearly cream myself over a takeaway pizza. Or just shoot me - lol

It normally costs £9.99 for any size delivered. The £2 saving to some people is massive, especially if its a regular occurance. Each to their own I suppose. Just sharing the information with everyone ahead of the deal going live

If its a regular occurance you wont miss £2

I am going to try this because Pizza Hut quality has gone down so much it sucks.

Yeah, I'm single, and as such, can't justify paying full whack for a pizza, or ordering two on BOGOF.

Only chance I get to indulge in the pleasures of delivery pizza is the odd occasion they drop under a tenner for a large.

Thanks for posting!

I agree about throwing the guy a quid tho, I feel like he earns a pound just entering my local area without a tank

Sure it's more expensive than a load of tesco value bread, some ketchup and some dairylea slices...

It's mainly about convenience, tho, you're paying for something you crave, cooked for you, handed straight to you in an hour, and no washing up.

Sadly the same has happened at my local Dominos. Their pizzas have turned into cheesy smelling pieces of dried bread. Cost cutting I guess. No more business from me.

Unlike take away drivers dominoes delivery staff get an hourly wage. On a side note i never tip even when out for a meal.

People you really need to get a life, its a pizza deal, its either good or its bad, no-one wants to hear about your life story or whether you think the driver should get a tip.

Hot from me.

If they don't like it they can always find another job... which is exactly what I when I used to deliver for Pizza Hut! Although tips were much appreciated...

A £1 tip!? If they deliver 20 pizzas in an hour and get an extra £1 off each person................hang on, im just going to search for a pizza delivery job!

20 pizzas in one hour? That is one every three minutes!

You'd be lucky to deliver more than 3-5 an hour, earning minimum wage and getting £1 a time in tips - no thanks!

You know people (or groups) sometimes buy more than 1 pizza at a time, right?

Even by your reckoning it works out to a minimum of £9.08 an hour..which is not bad at all. I wouldn't mind getting a wage like that..especially seeing as ~33% would be tax free.

thanks for the heads up. Hope my local one is doing this deal

Overpriced rubbish.

i once witnessed a dominos driver drop his pizza bag from his car without realising. after waiting 5 minutes to see if he would return, he didnt, so i got 2 large pizzas, wedges and chicken wings free. that was 10 times better than any other deal theyve ever had!

Delivery drivers get paid the same (if not on the sly cash in hand) as people stacking shelves in a supermarket, but I dont give them a pound for putting the beans on the shelf.

And who tips the Supermarket drivers ?

In your opinion

Isn't running locally. So isn't nationwide.

Also 40p to make one of these pizzas? I'd like to see the ingredient breakdown for that, while they're certainly adding around a 100% markup on full price, you couldn't make a real pizza for so little.

I figure a large pizza costs approx £3~4 to make and delivery varies wildly depending on customer.

Tipping is for when in the U.S.A.

keyword: sometimes. Nearly all orders are small and for 1-4 people. People don't tip per pizza. The driver cannot take more than a few pizzas per trip because the food has to be served at a certain temperature. Turnip pulled that silly comment out of his bumbum, why are people taking it seriously? 20 in an hour is daft unless you have worked out how to email pizzas to people.

In my experience 50p is not a bad tip, most people are tight. Its rare to see someone hand over a quid or more. 20p is more like the average, which is a bit pathetic.... but thats just people for you.

Why is it that when someone posts a deal there are always whiners like you doing nothing but trolling? Do you really lack that much in life that you feel the need to come here and pick at the wording someone has used? The OP is doing everyone who likes Dominos a favour, which he doesn't have to do and you come along just to troll. If you aren't interested in the deal why bother even opening the thread? Imagine how much this site would suck if everyone was like you.

Cheers OP.

THANK GOODNESS THE INTERNET POLICE ARE HERE!

Always tip delivery drivers.

People tip a waitress 10% for walking 10ft with a couple of plates. But not someone who makes a 6 mile trip with your food right to your door.
When I was a driver, If everyone gave me 50p, I would have managed alot better.

hmmm, you have a go at the original poster for over reacting yet you then claim it costs 40p to make the pizza?

so no one gets paid a wage for making it?
so the shop where the pizza is made is free and there are no running costs involved including services like water and electricity?

i doubt very much if the raw ingredients cost 40p, more like £1 or even more dependant on the pizza

wind your neck in

Its £8.99 collection only for my area.

I do at Christmas .

I think 20% off a product is a good deal imo.
But I do think they are vastly overpriced in the first place.
Saying that though, it still doesn't stop me from ordering.
