Do you mea 1 envelope in each calendar to fit the calendar in? If you do I don't want to pee on your fire but they have them at this price all the time . Still good info for those that don't know

a carrier bag is worth 5p so yeah it's a freebie although it doesn't have a handle.

a carrier bag without a handle isn't really a carrier bag is it?

Bags without handles are free anyway.

So let me get this right because I can be a little dim. I can get a free carrier bag which cannot be carried using the handle method by spending a pound? Oops forgot the free envelope. So...two non carriable carrier bags with no handles plus a couple of envelopes to hide my calendars in for free...when I spend a pound. Or half the pleasure for 75p. Works for me.

Guys come on please! Yes you get a free plastic carrier bag at the Card Factory but you can easily make a handle by ripping a hole at the top of the bag.

Because most people don’t need envelopes for their calendars and like to wrap them up for presents

Right. Sit down, I don't want to blow your mind, but... if you buy cards from Card Factory you get an envelope too. That shop, eh? Envelopes and half-finished carrier bags! Unbelievable deals!

(The calender deal itself for £1 is a decent shout, but the "freebies" you're so fond of are just silly, I'm afraid.)

Also this isn't a freebie even if you thought it was a freebie you still have to spend a pound. A freebie is something you don't have to pay a anything for.

i think you would only get one bit of useless plastic with your two calendars not one per calendar

and as they so thin that even if you did rip a hole in the top to carry them like a normal bag they wouldn't be any use for carrying anything heavier than a card so would be binned when you got home

surely defeating the whole purpose of why the charge was brought in in the first place

Rubbish calenders cheap thin paper.

And the free carrier bag isn't specific to this deal. It's just Card Factory's policy of free bags.
Buy anything, get a free carrier bag - maybe I should post this as a deal?

When I bought a mug from homebargains last month they wrapped it in a couple of sheets of newspaper... freebie newspaper!! Wohoo

When does the calendar 2 for £1 offer end? Thanks

Has this offer ended now?
