ty op great deal! just ordered as an xmas pressie

This sharpener is actually quite a bit smaller than it looks to be in the images, that said it does an excellent job of sharpening knives

Nice one, ordered!

Thanks for this, keep missing this everytime it comes around but finally just got some ordered.
Cheers OP

I bought one of these last time around, they work a treat.

Voted hot.

very very good at sharpening blunt knives however it is quite aggressive so i wouldnt be using it all the time.

ordered using £6 vaucher thanks:)

nice one!

Got one when they was £5, it's done all my knifes a treat .

good knife sharpner, brought my sabatier knife set back to life, the only thing is not with the knife sharperner, but why oh why do amazon stick a small item like that in a great big blinkin box, could of easily fitted into a small jiffy bag! then e mail ya, to ask for a review on the item, which asks about packaging!

Thanks ordered Hot.

Thanks - finally managed to order after previously missing.

Missed out last time, got one ordered now. Thanks

I remember when mine, mine came in a big box and wondered what it was until I opened it.

Seems to be a positive response to this knife sharpener. Others I've used have been useless. Anyway I've oredered this. Thanks OP.

got one last time for around this price and it is really good.

Great thanks. Been after one of these for a while. Ordered

great find just ordered one thanks:D

EXCELLENT product ....well done OP ordered two for gifts!

It's an excellent sharpener; however, does not work well on serrated knives, despite claims to the contrary.

sold out

Gosh darn it!

Out of stock now

Damn. Missed it again.

Says in-stock at an affiliate for me - although the price is now £9.94

err its in stock so someone should unexpire it.

You are better off learning how to use a knife steel.

Good price but these things are pretty dire for your knives

In stock - just ordered for £6.73 delivered. Needs to be unexpired.

Careful - I accidentally sliced my hamster clean in half with a cleaver after using one of these.

QVC doing a double pack if you want to give one as a pressie, works out at £8.83 each with the postage

A steel won't put an edge back onto a blunt knife, it only hones an existing edge. I wouldn't use my anysharp on top-quality or exotic knives, but it works well to turn a useless knife into a working one. Then you can use the steel to keep the edge.

It's very aggressive, unlike a stone, so ideal when my dad's been using his glass 'chopping board' to create big butter knives.

i got one of these last time round. you can actually see the tiny filings coming off the knife. have to agree with post #23 - waste of time trying to sharpen serrated knives.

Must admit it worked very well on my serrated knives.
