Lol hilarious.

Says out of stock

oos

I have been sharpening knives using various methods for over 40 years everything from Sabatier to cheap peelers.
These sharpeners are the most effective and easiest way to put a proper edge on a blade and no experience or skill required
the only thing to be careful of is overuse as this does take a small portion of metal each time you sharpen a blade.
At £6 they really are a bargain.

DO NOT use this on Global or any Japanese style knives...it'll ruin them. The angle at which they are sharpened is completely different

Does it work on left handed knifes?

Surely every sharpener - no matter which version - takes metal off.

Just some take more than others.

If you are intending to use it I would recommend only using it to re-edge your knives then use a standard steel to keep them sharp, as even with minimal use these can start to curve the edge of your knives.

I wouldn't recommend these at all. Have one, it's in the bottom of a drawer somewhere. Ruins knife blades by basically hacking the edge into a load of micro and not so micro serrations. Buy a Lansky turn box for around £20 and get proper edges on your knives.
