24 inches is never actually 24 inches. I guess men measure them.

So while I wouldn't give a toss about 4mm others here clearly do, why dose the title say 24 inches, not 23.6?

If you play fps games then this wont be any good due to the response time. The picture on mva monitors are great and are the best of doing photoshop but as said as a gaming monitor its a no.

Be aware it is vga and hdmi only with no dvi connection.

Don't see why not; although I'd prefer a monitor with integral USB port to power the Chromecast/Firestick, otherwise you need another wall socket etc.

this is cheap
Ive just paid same price for a 11" cctv monitor. would have got bigger but needed it to go in lounge next to TV.
This price is a bargain though

5ms is absolutely fine unless you are some sort of gaming ‘pro’ who spends silly money on led lit cases and various other overpriced peripherals designed to give you the cutting edge.

No. It's because originally monitors were cathode ray tubes which were blown into a rectangular shape. This meant that the corners were rounded off, although if you extended the corners to a right angle the tube would measure (in this case) 24".
So in order not to show the rounded corners, the picture was masked down. This then became the De Facto size for LCD and TFT screens, although of course the corners didn't need to be masked.
I don't think you can blame men for this, unless you think men are to be blamed for everything

PS. The changed title is RIDICULOUS

I have a 27" iiyama 120hz 2ms monitor, plenty of 144hz out now but they are not as cheap as this. I know what you mean about motion blur and sickness as I have been there. If you dont want to spend much get a 1 or 2ms tn panel, viewing angels are not as good but no motion effects. Aoc are probably the cheapest for a 120 or 144hz monitor.

Can anyone recommend a similar priced Monitor that has USB sockets?
I want to leave things plugged in and quickly take the laptop.

Cheers
