Although not a big name brand, this AOC 32" LCD TV has some good specs, good contrast ratio and excellent response time. It has component inputs and HDMI for HD devices. Unfortunately no Quidco on this, and delivery is £11.99 on top unless you live close and can collect it, but I dont know where they are based. But all in all for £411.98 this is a great tv.

This is brand new, and not refurbished like a lot of Bigpockets deals.

Specs are..

32" Wide screen
WXGA (1366 x 768) Resolution
High Brightness (550 cd/m2)
High Contrast Ration ( 1200:1 )
Ultra fast 6.5ms response
Built-in Tuner with Nicam, Teletext.
PC Input (D-SUB),
PIP & POP
2 Scart, Composite & S-Video
Includes HDMI & Component inputs

Perfect for use with Sky HD, Xbox 360, HD-DVD, Blu-Ray & PS3

I've had a quick search around, and the only other place I could find this specific tv was at Gadgetopia.co.uk for £495.

not a bad looking TV, may go for one of these. Ta mate!!!

AOC are large TV company in Asia, Used their monitors before (CRT) without problem.

Chinese or Taiwanese I think.

This is a good deal 6.5ms with POP /PIP

Shame no DVB or freeview, But excellent find.

Based in Lye, 5 mins from the Merry Hill Centre if anyone wans to collect

How thin are these ? Would it be able to be wall mounted (need a bedroom tele)

I've always found AOC's monitors to be comparatively quite poor quality and unreliable and I don't think i've ever seen a review to contradict that. They're certainly way off the mark compared to the high end of the market like Iiyama, Viewsonic and Eizo.

Perhaps their TV's are different, but i'd want to have a good look first.

It does say on the website that it is wall mountable. I havent seen or used one of these in action before, but the stats appear to be very good, and the price is also good for a 32inch HD lcd.

I'm interested in buying a 32inch LCD TV/ Monitor (pc)

What would you recommend? I want a decent one without breaking the bank balance!!!

Well this should be okay, but i've never seen one in use, you wont find anything cheaper for a 32inch tv and monitor thats hd enabled, however, someone's posted a 32inch beko 32 lcd tv (not hd) but that wont be a major concern unless your more interested in using it for a tv than a monitor.

See here hotukdeals.com/for…367 but its not a massive difference in price or brand name reputation.

This TV has received a huge response on avforums for its incredible quality and as an owner, I have to agree.

Guys please note that there are a few different versions of the AOC tvs on sale. some have AOC L32W451B, some have AOC L32W551T. According to micro direct it ONLY support 720p - I have been hunting around and there is no 100% confirmation of Supported Timing: 480i / 480p / 576i / 576p / HDTV 1080i).

Also the remote control is nasty and cheaply made (its like a cheap dvd player remote, sorry i'm abit fussy)

Hopefully more information will come throught over the days BUT like I said be carefull of the different models and try to find out what timing support it has.

these seem to be alot cheaper on ebay!
