Nice monitor, using it myself as we speak. Bought mine maybe 3-4 months back for £170 so can definitely recommend at this price.

Can it do 60 100 120 as well as 144hz? Just if some games cannot push 144 thinking could lock it down to 100 instead? I was just looking on amazon and a Samsung advertised this feature but it also seemed to be on another aoc I saw too but had to dig through the manual online. Is it standard to do that?

My son has a gtx 670 so freesync not (yet) supported on it.

1ms ?
Kian_Plays29/11/2019 07:49

1ms ?

Description says "It comes with 144 Hz, FreeSync and 1 ms MPRT" so I would say yes but I know response time can be misleading.

It’s 4ms check the AOC website

Good spot, it actually says 4ms response time and then 1ms MPRT higher up the page. Bit confusing.

No worries, Ive been looking for a good 144hz for a little while now.
Googling it suggests cannot do freesync and 1mps together?

Thinking of getting it as 10 pound credit too when you order over 100 pounds?
Price increased to £171 now
When you actually go to Amazon the price is £170.
Expire? Guess they ran out of stock. Unless they bring more in.
Back to the offer price again
So is this 1ms or 4 Ms? My son wants 1ms, so don't want to buy if not. I haven't got a clue!

Does his gpu support freesync? When I looked at it last night I saw 1ms was only of freesync not enabled.

Is 3/1000 of a second much anyhow? I cureently game 60fps which is approx 16/1000 and hoping to say game 120 which would therefore be 8/1000. So you are a bit slow? Or is it on the ghosting effect?

I have no idea what that means. We haven't bought his PC yet, still looking. Is g sync the same as enabled?

Sorry to ask so many questions. His gpu will be GeForce RTX 2060 6GB. Will this support freesync?

Hi yes it will! It is confusing. Used to be g sync (nvidia) and freesync (amd). G sync was more expensive but now nvidia supporting freesync but only with new gpus... My son-s is too old...
I cannot comment how good 4ms vs 1ms is... I game on a 4k tv with 15ms lag so all great to me i know freesync is good though as will adjut your monitor refresh rate in line with the fps so will eliminate stuttering. Though again at high fps is stuttering noticeable?

I guess could go through reviews and see if anyone complains about 4ms on freesync.

Thank you.
I received mine yesterday. I was quite impressed, quite smooth gameplay, no screen tear etc. Good budget level gaming monitor.

Unfortunately mine had three dead pixels (two adjacent) and Amazon are out of stock. Would have replaced if I could but had to opt for the return.

I'm returning mine even though it hasn't been delivered yet, as my son has changed his mind
