Valuable feedback. Cancelled my order. Will wait for a 4k 32" deal.

You could be in for a bit of a wait if you're expecting a 4k 32" to be anywhere near this sort of price.

That doesn't make sense, if you think the sweet spot for 24" is 1080p then this should be fine as it has a higher PPI than that.

1920 x 1080 at 24" - 91.79 PPI
2560 x 1440 at 31.5" - 93.24 PPI

Bought this the last time it was recently here at this price. Stepped up from a 24", QHD is just perfect at this size. I'm impressed by the monitor and amazed at the price.
Won’t be very accurate. But for the price it seems like a lot

Have dabbled with overclocking a little further, like to 90Hz?
Have the VA edition of this, which is pretty good but plagued with ghosting in dark scenes. Tempted to get this. 75Hz is better than most devotees of 144/165Hz will admit.

Obviously depends on your viewing distance, I've been a 1440p @32" owner for several years and when I tried 4k @32" it did my head in.

Was just about to take the plunge on this when it went oos a few weeks back. Been waiting for it to come back down again.

I'm not overclocking. My casual use does not need it. For serious gaming, my preference would have been to opt for a native 144Hz. Maybe someone else knows or can try.
Can any one help. Got my son a hamming computer for Xmas. Low end compared to others. Does it matter what monitor you get to the graphics card in it. The bloke at the convention just said get a 75hz monitor. Is this one good? The card that is in the pc is a nvidia gtx 1650

"Got my son a hamming computer for Xmas", what's your son going to do, play on it or eat it?

This monitor would be a good choice, a 75hz monitor is not essential over 60hz but if you can get a higher one for a comparable price (like this one), then go for it.
Would ps4 look better on this than say a Sony Full HDTV LCD? Can ps4 output at 75hz or more?

The PS4 cannot output at 1440p or 75Hz.

The Xbox One X can output at 1440p I believe, although only at 60Hz.

The 1650 will support Freesync on this monitor too although the range is something like 48-75 which isn't the best.
Having read the online reviews, which are almost all 4.5-5/5 i bit the bullet, didnt "need" it but wanted it and its xmas so sossidges ...i think at this price point, the size and his res above 1080 are a total bargain, especially with the amount on connections it has ....i forsee a slappin' when i get home though...just had the "WTF" text off er-indoors!

Dont let your sons PC get infected by SPAM that will really slow it down.
For those who dont know what spam is, or who have never tried a spam fritter , google.
Do the older NV 1070 work with freesync now ??

The card won't be that good for 1440p, id recommend getting a 1080p 75hz screen or if your son doesn't mind turning down the settings to low and he only plays games like fortnite, csgo or something similar it should be fine

Haha, I was going to put 22", but the most common type of monitor is a 24" FHD.

I just know that going from 91.79 to 108.79 PPI was a noticable improvement, so (for my viewing distance) 100+ PPI is preferred. The 144 PPI that 4k 32" would give would be sweeeet (and probably do away the need for me to add AA in games).

Yeah my next monitor is going to be 32" 4k as I want something with more PPI - Probably gonna wait to see what we get in 2020 before deciding, hopefully the HDR improves.

I always hear people complaining about Windows scaling though which kinda puts me off.

I just bought a 27" BenQ ips from Amazon so I'll send it back and get this one instead. Might as well, it was only £20 more! Thanks op.
It's a good price but let down by no vesa mount holes.
I have the one below, paid over double, must have had it 3 Years now.
The menu buttons are fidly although monitor settings can be changed from the o/s with the software.

Agreed, those £180 isn't bad for what it is. It also leaves an unsightly stub at the bottom.

Because of this I opted for the Acer EB321HQU (was £229 in April 2018).

Ironically, we don't use a monitor arm any more in the current office configuration!

I'm sitting close to mine, less than 60cm. In spite of that I don't notice any pixelation. Previously, I wanted a 4K, having used this I am happy with it and for me it is just right.

Love mine, never needed vesa on my desk, the picture quality is brilliant. I ended up paying £100 ISH as my box was damaged (and opened) from Amazon, so keep a look out.
